Its a viable and profitable market. Cater to the lowest common denominator and you're sure to have success in the business world.
Lets see how well COD/Destiny does with NO marketing. Thatll tell you how uninspired the games are, and that shoving into peoples faces is the only way youll get those games sold.
Ive played plenty of great and underrated games which havent sold much or ended with the developer/studio folding over, due to not having good marketing, because they cant compete with the half a billion dollars Activision throws at COD and Destiny.
Its a sad state of affairs.
Based on what? A future time traveler?
The best Fat character is Bob from Tekken. That guy kicks ass.
Im was just gonna ask to Share Play so that I can play the four hour campaign. No way Im gonna shell out money for this game.
It wont go away if you all keep talking about it
I would love there to be a Pokemon MMO for WiiU, which is fully cross compatible with handheld devices. Best of both worlds imo.
Play the standard game on 3DS, then bring it home, connect it to your WiiU, then play from their as the same character with the same pokemon and stats/game save, but in a world filled with other gamers, and better graphics/gameplay.
Nintendo already milk Pokemon by releasing 2 versions at a time, whats a 3rd, full console release go...
It was proven quite a while ago with games like Riddick, Wolverine and Ghostbusters, among a few others.
Its only now that publishers have finally started to get their heads out of their proverbial asses and actually given time/effort/money to these licences.
Never played COD, but this one does look intriguing, if only a rent for the single player.
Brothers was an amazing experience.
I tried Alpha Protocol once. I wanted to like it but I couldnt. Is it worth playing? Gameplay felt really stiff in the beginning sections that I just gave up.
I loved that game alot. Its a shame Activision isnt utilising Raven Software more, their games are awesome. Now theyre bogged down by working on CoD and making DLC. What a waste of talent...
Not to many cry baby gamers these days. It honestly feels like the loudest ones are under the ages of 20.
Im personally sick of people only focusing on the resolution/frame rate, and graphical compromise made...in light of 99.9% of the rest of the game which is beautiful, massive, innovative, epic stories, detailed and well developed characters, unique and innovative gameplay and the inclusion of co-op.
It like, gamers take a magnifying glass, and complain for days about a tiny little spot on an otherwise amazing game.
Absolutely frustrating.
The only CGI trailers was the one with Lorde playing over it. the rest were in-game.
People enjoy bandwagoning and blindly following other peoples opinions before actually playing it for themselves.
Unity, Rogue, Far Cry 4, Crew, cant wait for them all. Ubisoft is firing on all cylinders in the game department.
A shame they cant keep their mouth shut about a few things tho.
It was an Alien Bounty Hunter game...how could you cancel it?!
I think thats the point theyre trying to make. Theyre choosing creative and unique time periods and settins. We've played plenty of Ninja/Samurai games, so they want to do something different and unexpected.
I think he means in terms of gameplay. No ones done American/French Revolution, Itlaian Renaissance or Golden Age of Piracy in a game before
There are plenty of Ninja/Samurai games people have played before.
Ubisoft strive for something new and different, but yes I too would like a Japan set game.
Id play Borderlands any day over Destiny, and that barely has as much funding or marketing as COD/Destiny, yet its an excellent game.
