Haha, I was thinking the exact same 5:1.
Much easier to say 'for every 5 PS4's pre-ordered, 1 Xbox One was pre-ordered'.
Basically there are 5 times more PS4 pre-orders compared to Xbox One (going by Gamestop manager).
This will be every PS4 owner the day they pick up/arrive.
If only :(
Don't forget to minus 1 month of PS Plus and 1 month of Unlimited music.
Meaning the final price will be less than 389.99.
I too will be sad and bitter if we don't :(
21 days left!!!
I hope we get this in England!!!
Still 21 days to go!!!!
I haven't disagreed with you just so you know.
My point is hardly terrible. Reasons are as follows;
If someone is considering buying a next gen console, they will not necessarily see Wii U in that category. Therefore there isn't much rivalry between PS4/Xbox1 and Wii U compared to PS4 and Xbox (my own theory)
Secondly; not many people on N4G give a damn about Wii U. If I'm not mistaken, Wii U hasn't been selling very well (I c...
It does not matter who censored it.
The FACT remains; Microsoft used PS4 footage misleading potential customers. Whether Ubisoft sent it or not, at the end of the day it is PS4 footage.
Ubisoft knew it, Microsoft knew it and they ran with it.
Xbox one and PS4 = direct rivals.
Wii U is not.
That is my answer to you.
I never thought about that, seems like the best answer so far. Seems like Sony will have to suffer for MS's mistakes/problems.
Interesting to see how next gen pans out.
I bet you the one missing is being used by the workers haha.
I cannot wait!!! 22 days to go.
I need to start checking if there are any in UK. We don't get the PS4 until 29th :(
esemce; The E3 gameplay for DR3 was bloody awesome. Slowly as the X1's release gets ever closer, the fact that PCs were used during E3 becomes more evident.
DR3 still looks like a game that will be a heck of a a lot of fun playing. It would be interesting to see DR3 on PS4 (although that wont happen).
I actually respect Mark Rubin for what he did here. He tried his best to answer David's questions, without breaking whatever he agreed with Microsoft/Sony. He didn't get angry or attempt to halt these very awkward question (though they are great questions for us).
And great great great journalism by David, some extremely awkward questions for Mark but these are the questions we (gamers) want answered. Brilliant!
Normally you instantly know when a game is next gen. This looks no better than Blops 2 and MW3.
I was kind of hoping Activision (IW in this case) would actually move several gears up due to new consoles being released. BF4 there's an obvious reason why you'd choose to buy it on next gen consoles/PC than current gen. With Ghosts I cannot see why anyone would spend £10+ on next gen version when it looks like this.
2142 Sequel or Bad Company 3; that's all I wanted.
However BF4 seems pretty badass and I'll still be getting it. Hopefully the next BF game will be the first two mentioned.
Considering almost every retailer will not guarantee day one delivery for anyone who booked September onwards (most are only guaranteeing Christmas), I think it's safe to say both are doing well for now (as article mentioned).
Come E3, I'm sure many ridiculously good first party games will be announced meaning more consoles being sold.
Unless there's an Alien Invasion or nuclear war or a comet impacting. Even then I'm sure there'll be a few gamer...
I may be wrong, but isn't PS4 ahead on pre-orders even in America?
Your first sentence makes no sense.
Example: If I have 10 doughnuts and sell them all, you have 5 doughnuts and sell them all, who will have the bragging rights?
I reckon they'll both sell out before Christmas, however based on pre-order, PS4 will have sold more (assuming it continues to outsell the competition).
Japan... 2014... Really?
I'm quite shocked!
Unlucky, 21 days to go for meeeeeeee!!!!!!
