No E3 Conference, but they will still be there and they are having two meetings there. One for shareholders and one for press. One of them is at the Nokia Center here in LA, and the Nokia Center is very big. Also they are going to have playable demos for AAA 1st party games, along with game announcements.
BOPS2 is a great game and it came out a week after PS360 and multiplayer is far better on Wii U. If you have not played it with a friend over both online, you are missing out.
NSMBU, was not the kind of Mario game I would have liked to see as a launch game, BUT it is far from lazy. In fact it is a great game, but again just not what I would have liked to see at launch. I for one am really looking forward to WW HD, as it is a great game. If it is a remake of a GC game, well then allot of people have not even played it. I have and did not like the graphical style BEFORE I played it, once I played it, I really could appreciate where Nintendo went with it.
That is correct. The mainstream could care less about specs. People like us do, but we are not the mainstream. Most of my friends have PS360 and Wii. They did not even know Wii U came out, and had no idea that PS4/Nextbox were coming out this fall. Although I know Sony and Microsoft will market the hell out of them, and at least people will know what they are unlike Nintendo. Yes he did, and that was months ago, but I am not sure we will even see it at E3. It would be a good move on Nintendo's part to show it even in concept video, but Nintendo is so hush hush all of the time because they don't want to be copied.
The game was built for two screens dude. It is the way it was meant to be played. I say give Wii U the demo, so people can see how the game is supposed to be played. HUD, and Maps on gamepad with no pause makes for a better experience. Also not all Wii U owners like myself even have a 3DS. I would not pick this up for my PS3. It is fore sure a Wii U purchase.
Yes Nintendo, Step up to the plate. You own the rights to Eternal Darkness, and the sanity effects. PUT THEM TO USE. Why renew an IP and then let it sit there?
I am not arguing with your numbers, or who sold more etc...My whole point was this article was about "Install base" Nothing more. My point is very valid. When PS4/720 come out, the install base will be 0 to start. They have to start from round 0, and build from there. Also they will come out at about the same time, and not everyone is going to drop $1000 to have both. They will have to pick one. Where as 5 million people will already own a Wii U.
Why does this article heading single the Wii U out? The article states all kinds of things, including the uncertainty

Uh, I am just saying. If you look at the 360/PS3 sales the first year the install base (more so for PS3) was not very large. So if developers choose to do this that is their mistake. Even if Wii U has only sold 5 Million by the time PS4/720 come out, well that is 5 million more consoles already owned when the others will have to play catch up for the install base. Also when those systems are released Nintendo will FINALLY have some better AAA titles that will make people want to pick one u...
I have a Wii U and it is a pretty damn cool system. Sure it isn't going to be PS4, but there are going to be some really great games I wont be able to get on PS4 so I have to have both. :) That is just me though.

I see what you are saying, but why did Nintendo renew the IP/Trademark? If this game is a "spiritual successor" does that mean that Nintendo may make another Eternal Darkness and Nintendo's version would not be the "spiritual successor", but the true successor. I agree. This guys "work" is video games, but to the average person, life dictates how much time you have to play. Unless you have no life there are not always enough hours to spend getting to the next level. That is why sometimes for me I like a game that I can just pop in and spend 20 min to an hour having FUN. I way disagree with you on the blu-ray. I am a 41 year old guy. I do NOT use my PS3 as a BR player because it is harder on the drive. I use it for games only. I have a BR player, and a smart TV. Also as an older gamer I have to disagree with you on the Mario, Zelda, Pikman tip. There are allot of other Nintendo games like Donkey Kong, Smash Bros, Eternal Darkness, Star Fox, Metroid, FZero, Kirby. All of which will be on Wii U.

Wii U can do allot more than it is given credit for. I could care less about what EA does or does not put on Wii U.
