Though XBOXONE will be more advanced, Wii U TVii is doing some really cool things. Nintendo needs to push it more. Wii U has the WORST marketing in video game history.
Rare had some of the most talented people when they had Nintendo guiding them. Once Rare went Microsoft, well you can see for yourself how the quality of games fell off. If Rare put a game out on N64 you knew you had to have it. Same will be said for Platinum if that were to happen. Rare was given Donkey Kong 64 and that sold very well as did Banjo Kazooie, and 007. I don't think Konker sold as well, but that game was AWESOME.
I am a Nintendo fan, and that is why in my comment I said if I have to play an EA game it will have to be on PS3/4. Because I am a gamer first and foremost.
This past gen, why would I have picked up a 3rd party game on Wii if it played and looked better on PS3? The gen before this, I mostly picked up 3rd party Gamecube games because they looked and played better than on my PS2.
BOPS2 is much better on Wii U than on PS3 so I picked it up for Wii U, and don...
I could care less...Yes I like NFS on Wii U. It is a very nice looking and playing game. It also showed that the Wii U could do more than past gen...the gameplay also was WAY better with the gamepad, but honestly if I have to play a game EA puts out I guess it will be on PS3/4. I do think it is funny though. Xbox3 and PS4 have 0, zilch, nadda, sold and even with the Wii U only at the 3 million+ mark that is 3 million more than Xbox3 and PS4. I am just saying.
What are you talking about? Tvii alone is a great app...Google street is freaking amazing and at first I thought it was going to be stupid. Youtube is better on U than PC. There is more then enough to do without even popping a game in. You are always on Wii U threads...You do own one don't you?
Personally, I could care less how much 3rd party support Nintendo has. That is why I have a PS3 and will have PS4. Most people own more than one system anyway. However Nintendo does have Sega backing them up with 3 exclusives, and I might add Lost Worlds looks pretty freaking awesome. There are enough games coming out that I will be more than busy with my Wii U. Because PS4 will not be backwards compatible its going to be costly at first for me and my PS4.
BTW my persona...
I had 2 ROD too. That freaking sucked. So I went with PS3/Wii For games. Just like I will go with PS4/Wii U this Gen.
What a rag. In the past 9 months we have had TVii, 30¢ classic games for download, backwards compatibility with 1080p upscaling and off TV play. As far as games. I really like Monster Hunter, Lego City, Zombi U, NSMU, BOPS2 is GREAT on Wii U, because of the gamepad, Wonderful 101 (really addicting and unique), Need For Speed (more features and better graphics than other consoles),Ninja Gaiden(better than ps360 versions many bugs fixed better gameplay), RE Revelations (the Wii U has th...
"a very low powered machine" uh and how much are PS360s going for? They have much older tech and are lower powered than Wii U, plus no gamepad. Not that I could live without my PS3 and will have to have one to continue to play my old games when PS4 comes out, but I am just saying Wii U is not over priced at $299 there is value there.
*Backwards Compatible
*No Online Fees
*Zelda HD included
*Gamepad (new way to play)
There are plenty of games on Wii U out now and coming that are not Zelda, Mario and Donkey Kong rehashes. BTW Donkey Kong has not been done to death on Nintendo Home consoles. At least not since the SNES days.
Sheesh, how did a fall line up commentary turn into a graphics debate. Oh well. Nintendo has some great games coming out, and I am not worried about if the games are going to look good. I already know they will. I realize that when I get my PS4 there will be some better looking games than on my Wii U, but really common guys. This Graphics debate is getting old. At $299 for a deluxe bundled with Wind Waker, are you kidding me right now. That is a GREAT deal. So if you are call yourself a...
Just a question. How can this be a PERFECT 10 on 360 if the "definitive" version is on the Wii U. Definitive in this case means superior. Therefore this can not be a PERFECT 10 on 360. Perhaps on PS3/Vita combo.
Great score, as I expected. I am going to pick up the Wii U version, because I just can not see playing it without the gamepad. I am sure its great on PS3, but I really like the way the gamepad controller works in the Murphy levels.
To this day I still look at Galaxy, Galaxy 2, Metroid on the Wii, and think wow, how did Nintendo pull this off on Wii. That said, I can only imagine what will be done on Wii U. I mean I doubt I am going to look at my Wii U games and think wow those look like crap compared to my PS4. Games like X, and the Next Zelda will show us what Wii U can do. Once that is out, it will be up to 3rd party developers Like Sega to continue with the bar that will be set FOR WII U. Also Sonic is looking ni...
Funny, I have read some GREAT reviews of this game. Then I have also seen it rated a 2/10 and as high as 9.2/10. I guess this game is a love or hate game. The "Broken Mechanics" as its put in this article are false though. The mechanics are duplicated to the NES version. allot of people under the age of 30 have never even played an NES, and if you pick one up and play it today allot of the NES/Sega/SNES games ARE frustrating compared to allot of games out today that hold your ha...
This review is not very good. There are some very good ones out there too. This game may be one to rent first for some. I am going to pick it up though for Wii U though. Off TV play has me sold.
I will not be picking up ONE. At least not for a few years. PS4/Wii U combo all the way. Microsoft has gone too far with the Spybox for me. I will not rule our ever getting one though. I have not followed Xbox One much, but the Pre-orders are still good despite the hate. Much like Wii U though I would guess its the fanboys, and other people looking to put it on E-bay for a quick buck during the Holidays. I pre-ordered Wii U and now have PS4 on order. No matter what your console of choic...
Or better OS, newer tech and 3x the memory.
I agree with the price tag point, but I prefer my 55inch tv with the Wii U gamepad. :)
PS, I need to get a Vita. :)
Uh, that would be great BUT PS360 games are NOT designed with a gamepad in mind. Therefore all you will be able to do is play your games on the gamepad. There will be no HUD or maps on the second screen or multi-player on the second screen. This is just a Wii U wanna be poser. Not only that but what will the lag be? Nintendo painstakingly worked on getting the gamepad lag next to none. Also why are they developing for last gen instead of next? The article mentions nothing about XBOXONE ...
