The gamepad is far from a gimmick, and its not like you are FORCED to play with it. You can use pretty much any type of controller you want.
This coming from someone who has never spent any real time with Wii U.

I am not going to bother listing them all, but you really need to look at Wii U'S exclusives already out, and there are allot. Add at least 5 more out before the years end. I would not say Nintendo has not lost their momentum at all. Plus there are 16 new MK8 tracks coming next month, and 16 more in early spring, that is allot more MK8.
If you download the demo and play it through, I do not know how anyone could not buy this game. Also it is getting some DESERVED hype now. Unlike some other games that were hyped for months and mostly just disappointed.
I was not going to buy it, that is until Nintendo released the bitchin demo. I was sold in under 5 minutes. Goty material. Not saying it would win, but I bet Bayonetta, MK8,SSB, will all be in the running. Oh yeah and SM3DW.
I think it will do okay. Holiday sales will help. Next month I get to download 16 new tracks! I can't wait! The thing about MK8 is, I still suck online. I think the best I have done is 3rd.

Single player sucked, and I have other multiplayer games I would rather play. Way over hyped, just like Watchdogs.I am trading it in next week when I pick Bayonetta up.
I have always thought the same about Minecraft, as you do about UCraft. That is why I have never played it. If UCraft expands upon Minecraft, I will try it.

Doubt that, Bayonetta and Smash Bros are right around the corner. Bayonetta was number 6 in sales yesterday on Amazon. The reviews say its goty material, so nice try.

Nintendo bought the rights and funded Bayonetta 2, it will not be going anywhere other than Wii U. It certainly is not waisted on Wii U. As I get ready to replay the demo and buy Bayonetta 1&2 next week.
Did you at least download the demo and play it? It is freaking insane. It is not like you have to buy the demo. You should at least try it. It is one of the best games of the year, and yes I was with you on the weird tip, till I played it.
I think Nintendo was smart to release a demo for the game. I had not played the first one, and was not all that interested, after playing the INSANE, demo at 1080p (upscalled)60fps I was sold within the first 5 minutes. Thank you Nintendo.
This video does not look great, watch other videos of the demo that are not off screen. Better quality. The light from the window is too distracting in this video. Anyway, Amazing demo, I was impressed in less than 2 minutes.
Destiny definitely was ovehyped (single player) as was Watchdogs. Yes I do have it for PS4. The game I think deserves some hype after downloading the demo is Bayonetta 2.
I must be the only gamer on the planet who has never played Minecraft. I might pick this up on Wii U if its a good game. I think the gamepad would work well for this type of game.
Heh, this was pretty lame. The only thing I agreed with is not being able to skip cut scenes. I for one love 3d platforming games and would love to see some really great ones this gen.
