Other Fatal frame games came to the west on Wii, so why would it not? I think it will, Nintendo is kind of making a big deal out of this game. Miyamoto has his hand in this game too, so I think it will be pretty good.
Because this is a AAA game published by Nintendo, and more than likely will release here as well, and I for one am going to pick this up day one.

Well, I used to use it for my tag online, back when games really first started doing true HD on consoles, and I am not talking 360/PS3 pseudo. I should change it I guess, but I have been using it for a long time.
I would not call this a "major Improvement". It looks better, but we are not talking PS2-PS3 generational leap, or a N64 to Gamecube leap here.

DKR can not be made for any other system accept Nintendo they own it. Also for Nintendo having such a "small install base" they sure the have sold the heck out of MK8. 1.2 million in a week.
Wii U IS Nintendo's next gen system. Have you not seen how slick the tracks in MK8 are? 720p 59fps, locked. Then check out the replay in Slow motion and you really see the detail you miss in playing the tracks.

The system cam handle two gamepads, but support has not been added yet, because there is not need for the use of two at this point in time.
On the flip side, if you need a replacement gamepad now you can buy one. I personally would not, because Nintendo will fix yours or replace it for $89 if yours breaks or does not work properly, like if you spill a sticky drink on the buttons.

I never said I did not want the game. What are you talking about? If Wii U owners did not want the game it would not have been funded as quickly as it was.
Of coarse I want the game. I have PS4, but was going to pick this game up for Wii U. The Wii U needs more racers. I have Need For Speed, and Mario Kart for Wii U, but would have liked to pick this game up for Wii U as well.
This looks like a typical runner game like on tablet. The only difference is the VR headset. This would not justify the cost of the headset. I would need an open world game.
Wii U owners helped kick start the game, not PS41 owners. This is BS. Also the Wii U version has been in development along with the PC version months longer than other consoles.
WTH, The Wii U version should have been finished B4 the PS41 versions anyway. There is no excuse for pulling people working on the Wii U version, and have them work on PS41 versions then have those ports be finished first.

I am not so excited about VR. I think it will be a good 10 years before it will be worthwhile.
I also think that the effects on the eyes with long periods of playing will not be good. I foresee headaches, eye strain, and eye damage over time.
It would be like wearing 3D glasses for hours and hours. I like 3D movies, but I would not want to watch them for six straight hours every day.
I am agreeing with most of the comments on here. If anything the PS4/XB1 versions should be pushed back. If not then all 3 get pushed back till they are all ready.
They are not the same games every gen....Mario Galaxy and Mario Sunshine are not the same at all. Nintendo always makes their games FRESH.

I am really not sold on this games whatsoever, yet. The videos I have seen are so so. Now that I am reading this is "struggling to maintain 30fps" has me worried. I am not a 1080p 60fps snob, but 30fps should be the minimal standard at this point in time.
If this game has the Zelda name on it I would expect it to be amazing, of coarse there was that crap Cossbow training for Wii.
If you "loved every previous Nintendo system" you have owned, then you SHOULD love the Wii U. Virtual console N64, Super NES, NES, Game Boy games all on the Wii U, Wii backwards compatibility, and in the future Gamecube games too. The option of every controller possible, including Gamecube this fall.
