Ya know,Wii U has great games. I think the entire LACK OF ADVERTISING killed Wii U before it was even released. Dreamcast had a fantastic ad campaign, but it failed, and Wii U has had pretty much NO ADVERTISING at all.
Nintendo has done a POOR job even ADVERTISING the system. Whoever leads their advertising dept needs to be fired....even N64 Get N or Get out. Was stuck in our heads..how many years ago... Ninte...

The absolute soonest it could release would be December 2016, and I doubt that will happen. Nintendo can not afford to fudge up another launch.
I can not see Nintendo releasing this until 2017. This video may have some good points, but it Nintendo were going to launch in 2016 3rd party would have to have developer kits in order to even think making a game for NX, and they do not!
If NX is launching in 2016 the development kits will have to be put out SOON. They can't give UBI a kit and say here, this releases in 6 months, make us a kick butt game. Not going to happen.
There was nothing wrong with gamecube. With? It had nearly 2x the power of PS2. Great deal with Capcom for years. Fantastic Star Wars games. Rogue Squadron 2 and Luigies Mansion for Release titles.

I forgot StarFox, but I am not sold on StarFox yet. Still needs to be added to the 3 year mark though, cause it is a major release.
I may have clicked on this IF THE WII U was 3 years old. It released in the US November 18th 2012. That is nearly 5 months away. By the time Wii U is 3.....X, Mario Maker, Fast Racing Neo, Fatal Frame,Devils Third, and some cool indie games will be out.
Fatal Frame, X, Devils Third and Mario Maker, need to be included on the Wii U's "report card" but since the system is is only 2 1/2 years old they are not.

I agree, but that's why I want to see it in action. One of the pics I think looks worse than the original, BUT I am sure that will not be the case when we see it running.
Darksiders2 was not graphically impressive to me, but the game was pretty great. Heck if the price is right I might pick this up, I just realized how many expantion packs I don't have.I have to see though, I know I can download some of them for my Wii U version,but it might be better to get the PS4 v...

I need to see this in action to judge, I see some improvements, but nothing spectacular. It will probably be more apparent in motion.
Anyway I had not played this game till last year, it was on sale for $9.99 on Wii U eshop, I loved it! It reminded me of Zelda.
This game was way over budget when released, so they need to make some more cash on it.

There will be a graphic saturation point. You really don't see quite the leap this gen as last gen. Going from 8 to 16 bit and 16 to 64 bit and 64 to 128bit these were huge very apparent leaps. Now not so much anymore. Of coarse they do look better this gen, but its more in the detail.
Nintendo stated it IS a home console at their shareholders meeting. Haven't you read all of Nintendo's comments about how they are hoping for a major hit with this console?
We had early access for a ton of indie games for a week or so for E3. There were some pretty cool games.
You didmnot have GameCube? That was a fantastic system. Plus they had Resident Evil exclusive for a while.
I get what you are saying,but NX is 2.5 years away. The reveal is a year away though, and then we still have to wait another year or better.
Thats over 2 years of freaking awesome games, especially since you don't have one yet. The back log of games for new owners is fantastic.

Yes it is, but Sega marketed the hell out of dreamcast, when was the last time you saw a Wii U commercial?.
Also Dreamcast imo was THE TRUE FIRST NEXT GEN SYSTEM.
