I doubt this very much. Of coarse Nintendo pretty much lets us use any controller we want, on Wii U. Who knows. I like the tablet allot for games like COD and Darksiders 2. The weapons switch is fantastic. So it would be nice to have second screen again. The cost is still greater than a standard pro like controller, which would again factor into the price. That would again make an affect on the price/power. Nintendo won't want to be above $249-$299.
Nintendo has surprised me in the past when I have been in doubt, so I am going to wait and see.
My main concern is the motion controls. It just seems awkward. I know you do not have to use them though, thankfully.

I like your summary. I just still might pick this up. One thing I did not see(did I miss it?) Which controller was used? I have read the pro-controller is best to use. You mentioned "tight" controls, so I am curious.

I had to disagree. I understand what you are saying about the subs, and I am one who watches foreign movies with subs, on occasion (if they are supposed to be great).
This game just has soooo much dialogue, I think subs would have hurt it. I wish there was an option for subs, with original dialogue.

The game plays the same for every player (depending on your choices) so if all of this is so simplistic I would assume you are great at it.
All I know is I like the game and get my $%& handed to me.

The gamepad is great.
Great console, and who cares, its called a hard drive. You can pick up TB HD for $50. Nintendo and Sony let you use pretty much any external source you want. Microsoft does not.
Nintendo really is pushing the gamepad for this game, but if I give it an honest effort ,and I still have problems, I will switch controllers.
Zombi U took some getting used to, so we will see. This being a major IP of Nintendo's, I just can not see this game being less than an 8/10, 4/5. I really hope I am right.

I am pretty sure these are alpha/beta. So lets hope the final build is more polished.
I don't know about them dropping Wii U. The first party attachment rate for games is very good. I doubt 1st party XB1 games have the same attachment rate. I would look but I am on a tablet and don't want to look.
I am fine with it. I am hoping with this delay, the textures will be improved at least. Yes it would be nice to see this release for the holiday, but if it needs work, it needs work.
I have X to pick up and I know that is going to be a major time sucker.
Plus I have games I still have barely played yet, let alone beat.
