As much as I like MK8, I honestly think I have more hours into Sega All Star Racing Transformed. That Kart racer is fantastic. I wish Sega would put that team back together and make an even better game.Really I think Transformed was Segas last great game.
This Skylanders Racing looks fun, but I am not spending $60 to unlock karts and racers, after buying the game.
I agree 100%. No way this game will come out till 2017. Of coarse Nintendo could do a Metroid on Wii U and then do a "remaster" that releases with NX, but that will not happen.
More like Metroid prime 3....that cockpit looked great on Wii. Way better than this.
With that said I will still buy this. Thankfully you do not have to use the gyro controls.
You would be better off with a HD. I picked up a TB for 50 bucks the size of my wallet. I use a Y cable to connect it to the Wii U. Zero issues and I have a ton of stuff on it.
The brand I have is My Passport
Not to say you need a TB, bit for $50 it was a great deal. Really 500gig would have been enough for me.
The eshop has some really GREAT sales, that is mainly why I have the HD. Hell Darksiders 2 for $9.99 Resident Evil Revelations to $...
Mario is Nintendo's mascot. For gosh sakes. Just because Mario is in the title does not make it a true Mario game.
I have to say I like Brawl better. Also when I have been playing Smash and only Smash For some reason I get a wiked lag online at times. I don't think it's my internet, cause it really only happens in Smash.
Don't forget you too, as well as my self, hell we all were once just a "little squirt( thankfully not into someone's hand)" and look at us now. :)
As far as broken games and pretty much required DLC....KMA!!!!
I am adding a comment to my comment. Just to say if you are a collector it would be cool to have unsealed, and download the Digital copy.
The only proble with the physical copy is load times. It will be better to download it, for a better experience.
Never played it, and hope it comes to the U.S.
Dreamcast was at the time of its release the most powerful console out.
I remember playing Sonic Adventure and thinking how great it looked compared to,PS1/N64 games.
Back then it was so amazing going from PS1/N64 to Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2, and Xbox. The visuals and controllers (although Dreamcast and Xbox were not nearly as good as Sony and Nintendo's controllers) we're finally fine tuned for gamers. Visually you could see AMAZING differences imm...
It is freaking hard.
There is no way this will be the same. I will bet its going to be easier. With the gamepad there is no pausing to switch weapons while a Zombi is on your tail.
Anyway great game, but the gamepad really made the game that much better. I bet they up graphics a bit, although the grainy atmosphere fit the game well.
There were quite a few Gamecube games that had more than one disk, so the system was not held back by the disk size. As far as N64 yes size was an issue, but it pulled off some amazing games being cartridge based. The system and controller were pretty great, for that time. Mario 64 really influenced gaming back then and even today.
I still use my Wiimotes for Wii U for some games. Hell I even use em for Smash sometimes.
Uh , there is voice chat for Wii U, COD.Ghost, BOPS2....so your comment was not as clever as you intended.
The gamepad is not a gimmick, and Zombi U will not be the same without it. Just like Mass Effect3,Deux Ex, Rayman, BOPS2, Need for Speed, COD,Splatoon, and a bunch of others that use the gamepad well.
You may not NEED the gamepad, but even X displays the HUD and MAP on the gamepad, which makes the game more immersive.
The Wii remotes work with the system as well as the pro comptroller, so its not like you have to use the gamepad. X, I guess you will need to u...
It absolutely had a quarter 4 release date for this year. I did not listen to the podcast, as I get annoyed by them, but we all know it WAS delayed. DERP!
These people who insist NX will be here in 2016 are more likely than not under 25.
I have bought every Nintendo home console since NES. In fact I bought NES with my first paycheck back in 1987.
That being said, I really doubt NX will be here in 2016. Nintendo has NEVER had a 4 year cycle for home consoles.
Nintendo is also selling the hell out of first party software for Wii U. 5 million MK8, 1.5 million Splatoon. There profits are way up. ...
Even after reading this, they are still Video Games. That does not mean they cannot be masterful in their own right. Video Games today can be very moving, and stir emotions in us, sometimes better than a film can, because we are invested more in a game.
Who can forget Mass Effect 3's ending. Many of us were very torn, and emotionally upset.
