COD4 doesn't look better than Gears?? Character animations in Mass Effect are amazing, Bioshock's artisic flair is brilliant, PGR4 is gorgeous.
You have games like Warhound coming up that look like Crysis on PC, Gears 2 tech demo showed some amazing promise, etc.

Just wait you will start hearing about Bioshock 2 and Mass Effect 2 in 09 and I'm sure there will be lots of new releases on the horizon.
I heard the same crap when the PS3 launched that the 360 would be dead in a year after it launched and blah, blah, blah but it didn't happen and it will be doing just fine in 09 as well and 2010, etc.
Funny she mentions long load times on the 360 and then mentions Heavenly Sword.. HS has some hideous load times and I'm usually not bothered by them but that game is bad with load's.

I was thinking the same thing when the PS3 dropped it's price/re-arranged SKU's but it worked. I assume this is something similar.
talk like you own a Core/Arcade and know what you are talking about. But in reality the Core/Arcade SKU play's all the games and if someone want's an HDD they can always add one later. Yes, you can't play Burnout online, etc but I really don't think the Arcade is meant to be for the hardcore gamer, it's more a target at the "casual". But the Premium SKU which also got a price cut is a great deal.
