Nice to screw all the early Blu-ray adopters who can't support this profile! YAY!!! I will be sure to send them to your house when they find out they can't use any of these fancy features that were available in HD-DVD from day one. This due to the fact that Blu-ray can't get it's spec's together.

MGS better be the best game ever made if this Blu-ray is needed analogy of your's is going to stick. I won't argue that having more space is always "better" but "needed" I don't think so.
and it is a cool feature. Mainly I use it for video/music streaming. I really wish they would make more games that support RP. I don't want to play PSOne games and I am not going to pay for them so hopefully some full retail games will take advantage of it ala Lair.
You keep saying over and over that NPD is out in 2 days. I don't believe that is correct. NPD doesn't come out until like the 2nd week of the following month and they most definately don't release them on a weekend.
You make all these predictions and act like you know what you're talking about yet you don't even know when the numbers get released.

Plenty of people are excited for this game, Silicon Knights reputation alone is enough to get many excited. This game will score very well and I think once it's fully received people will be praising how deep it is.
So for you if it's below an 8 (at best) than it's mediocre and you don't play it? You miss out on a lot of good games.

They've invested the time and money into their service while Sony wrote off online saying it wasn't a big deal last gen. And for someone who uses both PSN and XBL, XBL is superior.
Either way, competition is good if Sony ever reaches XBL goodness that will push MS to improve and innovate more.

I know you are used to the inferior PSN, but you do know that all games on the 360 are "Live aware" and even if someone without a hard drive was playing single player and not online MP they could still be counted.
Not sure if they counted them but just so you know.
I don't like the new game at all and the fact they dumped an inferior port on the 360 seals the deal that I will never purchase it.
It's getting very little play on Live.
Why pay for the game twice just so you can play 1/2 of a game early.
