I believe N4G has an archive that goes back fairly far. You can compare the 360 fanboys back in the PS3 early days to the now fanboy fanatics. I don't recall "xbots" calling PS3 fanboys NAZI's or absolutely spamming entire comment sections with hate filled speak. There was a lot of "this is waiting" and "play behind" but nothing close to the level of fanatisism it is now.

The fact that you got 7 disagree's shows the level of fanboy fanatic on this site. If you are a gamer you cannot deny that the 360 has a better software library right now then both the PS3 and Wii. FPS, TPS, RPG, RTS + casual games the 360 has it all. To those trying to argue for the PS2, we are talking about "current-gen" systems and I'm sure that is what Chris Lewis is referring too.

I've had a few issues with disconnects on PSN, but nothing that has ever been a problem. I've had some disconnects on XBL as well so they are about even for me in that respect. I do however appreciate all of Live's features and that is why I prefer it over PSN. Do I wish it was free, of course, but paying $50 a year isn't a big deal for me.

I remember the same arguments when MP3's started to gain in popularity. Well, those record labels with that attitude are either going broke or have gone out of business.
I do say broadband connections have a way to go due to the file size for HD for a lot of people but it's already all digital distribution at my home so see you all on the other side(and no I'm not talking purely about XBL Live Marketplace).
