This is completely different then the message MS was spreading that it is up to the content providers to set the price but MS will help consult if necessary.
Now the content providers are saying it is ultimately up to the platform holders?

That's business.. No more despicable then Sony not doing anything about their drive problems which had to come down to a class action lawsuit before they made any changes and even then many people got screwed. At least MS offers a 3 year warranty on those systems if they due suffer the RROD. Unlike Sony who said "sorry, go buy another system".

hasn't screwed me at all. I've had no problems and I love the games I play on the system. Your own bias gives you a narrow view of what the 360 has to offer.
The selection of games stomps the PS3 + better online = why the 360 is a great system.
One thing I hate is people who read the internet, form their opinion and then condemn the 360 before even playing it.

they had a deeper need to bleed the supply lines out and get the old hardware failure prone systems pushed thru and get the more reliable 360 hardware in.
Just a theory..
Since ME is coming to PC I expect no less that ME2 will follow the same path. However I think this puts to rest that it will be showing up on any other console.

No four player Co-Op is rather lame. Never seen a sequel actually have less features then it's predecessor. I've been watching game videos for it and it looks OK, but I don't think I'm going to buy this one because it "simply doesn't fit".
Nintendo has no retro games on their VC service at all.. It's all new and exciting games..(rolls eyes) Whatever Nintendo! Go back to fleecing 9 year old's and wagging your nunchuck!

if you just want a superior "next-gen" game library get a 360.
Still on my first 360 with no problems over 2 years now.
The "skinflints" are the ones who only own PS3 or 360. If you want the ultimate experience own both(or all 3).
it sure hasn't.. Nintendo is running the show. As much as I don't like the Wii I'd rather have Nintendo #1 than Sony since Sony knocked Nintendo out so many years ago. Nostalgia I guess.

It's all about reaching that critical price point where people will buy it on an impulse. The 360 is trying to reach beyond it's Xbox original roots and I think price point can be an obstacle. Look at the PS2 outselling the 360 and PS3, it's price and software libary are superb. I think MS is trying to reach that same point.

I will answer that it's brand recognition. You do know that MS is the "baby" in game consoles right? When you are leader of 2 gen's and have an install base like the PS2 with 120mil then I don't see why they wouldn't perform better. A question I have ...
I saw your same post in the Gamer Zone and replied there. You are showing me now numbers and of course they are in stock. MS said their supply problems were in Jan/Feb and even amazon.com had them listed as discountinued during that time. Don't know why you are showing me Canada number's when MS is talking about the US.
