Seems stupid to call something a failure when people have the option to buy or make their own faceplates as an option. There are a few different places that will actually do a customer faceplate for you and they are still in business.. I love the fact that I can individualize my system.. I think MS will do whatever it can to stay away from the B-r format. I can't remember the article I read or what it was called but MS and Toshiba and some others are working on new tech that will actually increase standard DVD's to something like 50gig. I'm not positive about the amount of gigs but it would effectively use the existing tech in standard DVD and give you a huge amount of space.

And you rent these movies on Marketplace so you delete it when your done. If you really like a movie it's not like you can't go and buy it. But many people who aren't hardcore who just want to sit on the couch and fire up a movie can use XBL quick and easy. Again IamPS3 you are speaking about things you know nothing about. You can watch the movie after about 3 minutes and then it downloads while you play it. I've rented a couple HD movies to try it out and it looks great on my 1080p TV, even with these 720p compressed movies. It is a huge success for MS and the reason why so many studios/partners are signing up to get onboard. Watch how Sony will copy it with the PS3, they've already talked about it.
