Except that most of what he lists are actual issues that Nintendo hasn't fixed. eShop is a laggy mess to navigate through, and the shovelware is insane. Drift still hasn't been fixed, there's still no way of messaging people you add and no way to party up on the switch itself, and seeing as the only incentive to paying the online sub are the NES/SNES games they haven't been trying nearly as hard as they should be to add games.
Holy shite Henry and June nostalgia overdose dood!
Switch lost its magic when it came out and Nintendo showed it had no intention of adding features and making it everything they promised the Wii U was going to be. We don't know much about the Deck but 4 years of switch is enough to know it won't be anything more than what it has been and what it has been is kind of a disappointment in a lot of regards to many
Not to mention emulation and I mean emulation of PS1, PS2, GC, Wii, GB/A, N64 all those libraries of games which Ninty and SONY seem to not care about will be available day one and those emulators will probably be ported natively to Linux if they aren't already available. Sorry but I think people are really underestimating this. It's a literal PC in handheld factor. The PC is already a platform for gaming and game preservation. These sort of machines are already available but this one...
How can you say it's not a platform when Steam the platform is installed by default on the device. Steam which has all last and current gen 3rd party games as well as 3rd party games from the PS360 gen which arent available to play unless you plug in your old console. The Switch doesn't even have half of what came out last gen and will probably have non of what will come out in the next couple of years

Valve doesmt seem concerned with competing against the big three. Literally in the interview done during the reveal by IGN. They're trying to change PC from what it traditionally has been, which I believe this could be the next step from Desktops and Laptops
It's a literal day old bruh
Killing the man's legacy with all these generic cash grabs, Ubi.
I mentioned this in another article and only got disagrees. I actually managed to get a reservation about an hour ago now. Nintendo has done this with the NES controllers and SONY and MS should do it too. It'd be much harder to use bots and it'd insure more that you'd be able to get a PS5 or an Xbox if you can buy it directly from their stores
Remember Minecraft Story mode is already playable on Netflix, and I believe it recognizes the DS4 while on PS4. Could be that they wanna steam Ghost through Netflix
I been thinking how comfortable it'd be to just sit with a handheld and play my steam games and there it is. I hope this takes off along with the switch, maybe then Sony will reconsider another portable
Telling you folks, less multiplayer games! There are very few multiplayer games worth playing and they often get tossed aside for a new multiplayer game. I don't get why they don't just make TF2 f2p and support both. They should know that it still has a strong player base
It's really not that deep dood, writing was awful. There was no complexity. Everything was explained, everything shown, even Joel's and Ellie's fallout was shown instead of just being implied. I know well that when I'm playing a narrative driven game Im playing through a story written the way the writer wanted to. Neil just wrote a bad story, and that's simply my critique of it
Curious just how often people actually got into combat and found themselves dodging. Honestly I can't recall ever dodging much, I was always being shot at.
Low key AC style bleeding effect. Since games are more interactive than basically any other form of media there's potential to get an almost hands on approach. For slower paced games/open world/RPGs there's potential to hide very educational stuff behind some of the slower portions of a game
Too many cuts can't see wtf is actually going on, but it's giving me more of a PS All-star feel than Smash
I know these games are usually shite but man do I miss the platformer shovelware of the PS2 days
That would mean having to put some actual effort developing Fifa
Theey've been doing this pretty much with all their F2P games and Online games. If they don't see the cash flowing they just either shut them down or let the game die. What games besides Siege, and For Honor are actually still alive right now? And forsure AC Infinity will be shut down after a year and so will their new F2P shooter
