Why PC games can't even compete with console games:
-Standard controller instead of some keyboard/mouse setup has always been my choice.
-Better exclusives. Who cares if I can't mod the game, I get a better game period.
-The amount I paid for my console is definitely a better value than upgrading PC components like a rabid fanboy just to say I have the best graphics and faster loading.

socom 4 is a copy of many games that does everything in average manner. Socom 4 isn't even a true Socom game, but I'm sure all the people who think all previous Socom's were too hard will surely enjoy this game...People and their low standards will accept what Socom 4 has to offer.
no employee would sell an open copy new game when there's sealed ones. Reason being is that they have to have a display for every game, why get rid of the only display and have sealed in the back? If you're buying that last new copy then of course it'll be the display copy.
so instead of improving on a formula that makes socom great, they scrap all the old ideas and stuff that worked in favor of a hybrid FPS turned into OTS just to make an extra buck?
and because of this Socom 4 will be a shortplayed game where all the newcomers that Zipper was trying to draw in will soon find another game and leave this one behind.
Socom was the held to higher standards, only dedicated team players succeeded. Now it's just a game for gamers...
aim assist or autoaiming does not have a place in online gaming period. I do just fine in Socom without it, why do other games have it. If you can't aim then get out.
Confrontation after all it's patches and DLC is a very good game. Still has minor bugs and occassional cheaters(if people were honest and voted we wouldn't have this problem)

No shooter has changed like Socom 4 did to the series, it was perfect before and now it's trash.

Socom 4 is based off the MAG engine and everyone including their moms know the graphics aren't all that good so again, wtf is your problem. Go on the S4 beta forums and post what you think. Majority of the players know what's screwed up, all you kids looking for the next bs to play kee...
Socom 4 online is trash.
-The graphics are ok, although not nearly as good as Confrontation.
-The maps are garbage. Socom has always had the best map layout, NOT anymore.
-The gun sounds are horrible. They all sound the same. In every Socom each gun had an authentic distinctive sound, now it's all muffled and sounds like a bunch of paintball guns going off with no sense of direction since it does echo.
-Removed Socom's game modes for some 3 mode BS that...
um where's Venom? And every bit of DLC Capcom releases for SF or MvC is ridiculously overpriced, are they releasing DLC so expensive because people keep buying it or what.
If a character or costume is $5, don't waste your money. No matter how much you make, that's a rip.

If gamestop sold this bundle in a box with the OEM hard drive and all the additional accessories and system still in the original packaging sony wouldn't make a big deal out of it.
Problem is, gamestop opened the box, put a new hdd in and are calling it basically their own exclusive system.
Bundles are fine when everything is in their own original unopened packaging.
so treyarch says their can be updated to "those things", but they've used the same engine with a different sticker for 6 years now. Anyone that's played more than just Call of Duty knows about all the flaws within the physics and gameplay themselves, but apparently it's so easy to update they haven't, makes perfect sense....

well blame Sony because they rushed the release date instead of letting /6 do what they needed. Forced to release early, basically got a beta. But any true Socom fan stuck around to see the game progress because /6 was listening to the players and what needed to be fixed.

Because when I hear comments like, "Zipper makes great shooters", "I enjoyed the demo more than Black Ops", "feeling the trauma of Socom Confrontation", it's like people are comparing apples and oranges, think that somehow Socom is a copy of MAG, and people never stuck around to see Confrontation turn ...
