PS4 is probably at least 3.5 years away from release. Won't come out this year or next year. They might show it E3 2013 or 2014 and announce it'll be out Fall 2014 at the EARLIEST
The ps3 still feels fresh and new, just keep putting out great games and put out another top of the line system in 4 years that'll last another 10+ years and I'll be good :)
on foot combat looks 100x better than the clunky generic combat from warhawk
game looks great, I loved warhawk, so this will probably be a day 1 buy for me.
btw I quit watching the video because it seemed like Jobe was spoiling half the story.

the beta was garbage. If anyone played ANY previous Socom you would immediately notice the lower standards set in Socom 4. And still, if you haven't played any previous Socom you simply cannot say, with a straight face, that Socom 4 is anywhere near a great game.
And what's next, someone who knows nothing about football reviewing Madden 12 just so EA can say, "Hey I got one review above the 90's"?
BTW this is the first Socom I didn'...
I don't doubt this article, but whenever the specs for PS4 come out it'll be Wii vs PS3 all over again, it'll be a huge difference.
so what if the controls are now pitch perfect, what about the online graphics, nerfed weapons, bland hit detection and damage that has plagued the online portion for both games?
Socom 4 is not the best Socom to date it copies a lot of other games, got rid of everything that made Socom special(you know how games get old after a couple months, well Socom was always the game you go back to playing, not anymore though)
Socom 4 may be fun, but that doesn't make it a good game by any means. Reviews aren't everything, but with every Socom released by Zipper the average scores keep getting lower and lower.

graphics don't mean a damn thing when your games have average gameplay.
resistance has never been known for graphics, R2 online graphics were easily the worst in the series. If they improve on R2 campaign, then yes they're still decent, nothing near spectacular, but the game is fun and that's all that matters.
