Soooooo I can't be here without being interested in the numbers in this article?
I think the only reason I'm here is to defunk the myth that every single one of us is a hypocrite claiming these numbers are valid only when they favour their choise of console. I'm a Sony guy, VGC shows PS4 leading over XBone and not a single eff was given by me. These numbers are still as much BS as they have allways been.

Why would you need the sales figures that badly? We get quarterly reports from Sony,MS and Nintendo themselves. Isn't that enough?

Agreed! I'm just dumbfounded by the fact that he actually has to explain something so trivial in such great detail to people on a gaming site. What are we? 10yo? Who the eff cares about VGChartz? They've been proven to be the least accurate with their numbers YEARS ago.

I think PS4 is being manufactured at a faster pace and have been in production longer than X1 and STILL is out of stock everywhere. Wait for the financial statements and see.

Most likely you are right. It's funny though how much weight all these exclusive games have now again when MS has a win by default situation in their hands. I say this because Sony JUST provided the PS3 with TONNES of games they could've put on PS4 instead like MS did. MS starved the X360 and now they have more games and the fanboys go nuts once again.
Listen it still is a marathon not a sprint no matter how fast PS4 is outselling the XB1. PS4 ...

MS will be forced to drop the price with these sales. It will be 400 dollars in a few months. They either make it work without the Kinect and drop that or take a big hit on every sale and keep it. Either way that price drop is coming very soon.I'm guessing a couple of months after Titanfall launches unless that game is SO GODLIKE it makes the bone to fly off the shelves......which is highly doubtfull for a new IP ...

Additionally There is not enough time in the world to play all games on all platforms. Some of us have a family to support. Hell i don't have time for all the PS3 and Vita games. My backlog is miles long. I'm not sure how many years it will take for me to buy a PS4. I'm seriously starting to consider skipping a gen. PS3 is such a beast imo...
Persona 4 Golden is reason enough for me. I love being able to just power off in the middle of a dungeon if I'm in a hurry. I can then instantly resume where I left off. This is THE TRUE nextgen ability right there.
Sorry to burst your bubbles ballseye and lawgone but that is the way people see Sony PR people. I've heard people playing on PSN with Adam Boyes and such. People see them being gamers and doing their business for the gamers. Why the hell do you think PS4 is so popular?

I don't support bad business practices. MS has lost me as a customer ever since my X360 got the RROD. I sold the refurb and never looked back.
Yeah but I don't think XBone has a similar problem to deal with than RROD was for x360............does it?
I would like to hear if someone else had to ship their XBone to MS. Did they have to pay for the shipping for the PSU? If it's standartd procedure then everyone should get the same treatment unless the woman in this story was talking out of her ass.
