As I saw Angry Joe playing this game the biggest possible problem with this might be the DLC milking. Giving only 3 titans and a low number of maps in the beginning and then milking the living s*it out of it by DLC has the potential to murder the excitement for this game after the initial rush.
The COD devs have a bad track record regarding all this too.
If Titanfall fails to do a serious bump into X1's sales it will be a serious thing.

I know many who bought a second console in case of RROD since up here in Finland you had to wait up to a month to get a replacement from MS.
That's one way to get more sales. People saw how cheap the core-version was and since it was easy to just plug the HDD in and continue playing if you get a RROD something like this sums up to houdreds of thousands of sold core-consoles alone. MS never did release info on the percentages though (how convenient huh?).

PS3 was way more poerfull than X360 on paper so these situation cannot be compared.
We wait 2 years and PS4 is even further ahead in power if anything. When we waited 2 years with PS3 in the sh*tstorm everyone realized that PS3 indeed was/is more powerfull than X360.
