One of the biggest reasons for buying this is the fact that I can just shut off my Vita and resume playing whenever I want. This is one of THE FEATURES these next gen portables and consoles alike have. I really hate it when I have to play the whole dungeon just to be able to save the gam...

True. My country (Finland) is completely sold out of PS4s afaik. I asked around yesterday from 3 big console retailers and every single PS4 from those retail CHAINS had already been wiped out completely. The biggest store was getting another 12 consoles mid-december and that's it. The demand is crazy.
I would like to know how well Wii did since that console is considered one of the most successfull consoles of all time as far as initial demand is cons...

It seems the race is already over. XBO is available at stores as we speak and PS4 is sold out completely and not available untill next year.
This month is as close as it gets with these two without a major pricedrop from MS or major supply issues fron Sony. Once PS4 becomes available again it will sell WAY more than XBO on a monthly basis. The sales for XBO will flatline since the first rush didn't even deplete the initial supply of consoles.
I was just out shopping with my family and I asked from almost every single console outlet there is what is the situation if I want a PS4 and the entire country (Finland) is sold out. The biggest shop said that they will get 12 consoles around mid December and that's it. Insanity I tell you! If you didn't pre order you will not get a PS4 this year pretty much.

This is why I think why the xbo million sold ww is not a good sign if it indeed is not sold out everywhere. As it seems you have no problems finding an xbo the sales will absiolutely flatline when compared in the coming months.
MS will have to drop the price to match PS4 to try and stay competitive but even that will not carry the xbo for long. There just isn't that much buzz over the xbo atm.
Can't say I'm not pleased by this after all the stunts...

It took 3-4 years for Sony to redeem themselves even though they had nothing scummy going on like MS has had.
MS just keeps doing bad things and making gamers into their enemies. First it was pay to play then it was exclusive DLC and now it is microtransactions to the death.
I don't approve or feed misinformation as you can see from my comment history relating this particular news but there is nothing likable about MS from a gam...

No.You have to pay for a second console and they will keep that payment as a hostage until your defective one is sent to them.
The above applies only to the cases where you don't want to wait for a minimum of 14 days before recieving a new console. If you are willing to wait for that minimum amount of time you pay nothing. If you want a new console within 2days you have to pay for it and they will refund you the money after recieving your console.

Yeah you keep saying yourself that. I would like to see you giving a direct quote from my comment history for this instead of a made up one. I've said that it is BS but not nearly as bad as MS's way of doing it. I was a member of PS+ BEFORE they announced the PS4-way of doing it and that speaks volumes of the great value PS+ is.
