Exactly! MS listenes to money and money only. They didn't care about consumers at E3 2013. hell they still had a DRM console with them. Only after the pre-order numbers came in they started to "listen". To hell with a two timing, back boneless, greedy company like this. Gaming was way better when Sony was alone on the market with PS2.
Too bad MS but you lost ALL faith with the reveal. The x360 was bad enough but then you went and overdid it anyway. Well done sir. made my life easier not having to think about another platform.

You seem to imply that there is/was something wrong with PS3. Sony had a monopoly of sorts during the PS2 era and look what happened. Games, games, games, games and games.
Now fast forward when MS fealt that they had a strong foothold they immediately went for the throat (DRM etc.).

I agree. There is no competition or choise here really. If you want Borderlands 2 on the go you get this. I got BL2 already as a PS+ game for PS3 but it has been sitting on my HDD untouched all this time. I haven't played it at all.

The absolute best thing is that they didn't up the player count in MP. It would ruin the game. I want a PS4 because of this game. I love it on my PS3 but this has everything faster and better looking. Damn you my wallet for being so thin...
This game has the SP and MP nailed down as the best I've ever experienced in it's genre. It's unbelievable how the atmosphere translates so well from the SP to MP.

If you compare those sales to say R:FOM and Motorstorm sales onPS3 when it launched they are kinda bleak iirc. There aren't that many games to choose from so sales should be better with the few great games.

I seriously doubt you need to keep PS+ active if you purchase the game for the discounted price. Hasn't this been a part of PS+ benefits to get to keep them forever when buying with a discounted price? Do correct me someone if I'm wrong.
I think the story could continue where Ellie is much older (10 years afterwards) where the life beyond the first TLOU would be told through flashbacks or something. How things went to hell at Tommy's, what happened after that and what is Ellie currently after. Perhaps Joel went missing and she is searching for him or something. This is the first thing that came to my mind and it almost blew my mind in the process cause of how effing sweet something like this with a ND twist would be.

There are so many games on Sony's platform there's no need for other consoles for me. Don't have the time or the money to invest. Hell I've been playing Dark Souls 1 for WEEKS even months and I've gotten about 55-60 hours of game time in.
At my pace it takes months to complete some games and with 3 kids running around my house and a wife...
Nah. Judging by the actions MS tried to take with us gamers you (and all of us) actually lose on that side of the fence. Lose in short term and get demolished in the long run. A monopoly by MS would mean the end of gaming.
With a higher pricetag people would pirate the game even more on PC. I'm sure this is one of the reasons for the lower price.
Anyway my backlog is so huge I buy games when they reach the below 20 USD mark anyway so the difference doesn't bother me as much. It really is an overkill with PS+ with my backlog...

Agreed. Additionally for example in my case MS has burned the bridge they would need to get me to buy their consoles. I cannot support their mentality. There should be plenty of people like me since more and more of us are adults in their 30s. There are more things to life than money alone when I buy ANYTHING. Additionally having 3 kids is a strain on my wallet as it is.
Why isn't this game for sale on Vita in Zavvi or Hut?
Is it ok to buy this thing from USA? Are there some consequences I should take into consideration if I buy a US version of this game for my Vita or is it just like PS3 where it makes no difference? Thanks for all the sane replies :).
Ended? I think the ratio between X360 and PS3 will change before the production is stopped. It's good improvement on MS's part but that doesn't really take anything away from Sony's accomplishment now does it? They both win.
Great comment! To sum it up in two sentences (if you don't mind) "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me". People don't like to be fooled. This is why MS has a snowball's chance in hell ever gaining any ground in Japan for example. The people there are way too smart. I would recon there are a few smart people outside Japan too and that is what we are seeing with PS4.

MS had a great message and they were agressive with x360. "it's all about the games" remember? When they struck gold with that message what happened after that? That's right DRM.
