Well games like TLOU are not trying to be fun actually. They are trying to tell a story. Thank goodness nowadays devs know that there is a big market of gamers (like me) who are 30+yo with kids. The story has a big additional impact to the people who can relate to it better (ie have kids). There are fun parts in the story and character development in TLOU but the story is more on the serious side and it has that in spades. Best game I ever played! Makes me want to consider buying a PS4.

Umm.. why would there be a need for excuses? PS3 still outsold X360 and will continue to further the gap. Excuses to what exactly? PS3 will still sell over 100 million like I said. There are still far more people out there with all 3 consoles under their telly unlike 6th gen.

7th gen sales are not final as they are still selling those consoles you know? PS2 did almost 50 million after PS3 got launched and now they have stopped producing those afaik. PS2 sales are final but PS3 sales are nowhere near final. It's odd to see people forget this all the time. Whatever to support their agenda I presume......
Soooo PS3 keeps on being relevant to gamers (Persona 5 anyone) but we can't claim a victory for it since you say so? It has always been a marathon dude. PS3 still costs a whopping 190 euros for crying out loud. There is plenty of room to drop the price (PS2 sold for below 100 euros for a good while) and get more sales.
Tell me did the PS2 sell only about 105 million or do you count the sales after x360 and Ps3 was launched too? If you compare sales of PS2 vs PS3 that way ...

The guy compares the biggest of the big game franchises switching over to a new IP swiching over. Halo or Uncharted going multiplat is not the same as a new ip going multiplat no matter who the dev is.

Sorry but no matter what proof you show me I will never think that TLOU and Mario Galaxy are even on the same effing planet when it comes to my gaming. Same with COD vs Disgaea for example. There is a difference between a 30+yo gamer and a 10yo gamer you know.
