OMG any pressure job requires 'crunch-time'. At least in the private industry you get paid overtime for staying in late - I'm doing a PhD so I get the same salary no matter what.
If you want a no-pressure job don't go into an industry that sets deadlines. I have no sympathy for this as its just part of some high-skilled positions. If they want fixed hours they can drive a day bus
Screenshots of gameplay does not equal demo...my comment was in response to jhoward586 claim.
Yeah I loved the demo for the order at E3....
A game is a game....but if you had a choice of playing TLOU (imo the best AAA game on the PS3) or Journey (the best indie game imo) which would you chose?
For me AAA games are worth so much more than indie games. I hear you replying 'but you can have AAA and indie games on the PS4' which is true - for me though MS offer the best AAA experience whereas Sony offer the best indie experience. Theres nothing wrong with that and yes there are some good AAA and indie options...
only on this site would somebody disagree with your comment. PS4 fanboys ugh
that sounded pretty insecure - nobody (well maybe you will) can deny that this cloud service will greatly enhance the product.
After reading the article I realised the cloud can offer even more than I hoped. I wanted an xbox but I never thought I was getting value for money....this has changed my mind
There is no hope of that. MS has a huge business in providing servers to companies (them and oracle are world leaders in this field). They are allowing xbox to tap into that to improve it.
Sony can't offer these benefits because they don't have the infrastructure or expertise in place. Thats no slight to Sony, they are great at making hardware, but software and online capacity is microsoft's area.
Dunno where the 33% estimation comes from but yes the preorders would likely be higher.
The console would be damaged long term though as there would be no incentive to develop for kinect. Wait 2 years and you'll see that kinect will be utilised but the eye won't.
Neither do Sony. Everything (including Spark) is an incentive to get you to use their system and give them your money long term.
Its not a bad thing, just good business.
Delighted to hear this game is free btw. Always thought I'd like to try it but wasn't willing to pay for it.
The problem with touchpad grenades is you must remove your thumb from the RS button meaning you temporarily lose the ability to aim (not good if the target is moving). I think selecting inventory is the best thing for it on an FPS
I'd recommend trying the PS3 before jumping ship. Its a great machine and with TLOU it has surpassed the 360 graphics wise...but thats all I can say it has going for it.
Loading times are slower and I dont care what any sony fanboy says - the online play is significantly worse than live (I have recent PSN experience playing TLOU and FIFA 14). The controller is a big thing for me too but thats more of a personal choice - some people prefer the DS3 but I think the 360 cont...
I've found pixel enemy to be very antiMS
Well if Sony knew they weren't getting titan fall or dead rising it doesn't take a genius to figure out theyre xb1 exclusives
Ive already decided on a XB1 but this is a very nice perk!
Is spark a free-to-play? I don't plan on spending €60 on it but if its not full price then I will revise my decision
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I don't know where the love for indies comes from and why its so important they are championed.
Journey is the only indie I enjoyed and I played it once and will never again. I gave BF3 hundreds of hours.
There isn't a single next gen indie that would make me want to buy a console for it yet. I'm not sure I'd buy them even if they were available on current gen consoles.
I was wondering where the love for bioshock infinite was...
It is new IP, basically they only borrowed the name and one scene from rapture.
I probably preferred TLOU as a complete game but Infinite had the best story and most imaginative setting I've ever come across. The AI and gameplay is where it fell down for me.
Specs are obviously important for a console....but if they are the be all and end all for you then you should be getting a PC.
PS4 fans championing specs as to why its better than XB1 are at the same time admitting its inferior to PC.
I plan to get an XB1 (or maybe a PS4 but more likely XB1) for multiple reasons. If I was going on specs alone I'd get a PC - but I don't want a PC
Games, controllers, online quality, OS, kinect/eye, pric...
Its not free, its paying you for watching ads.
MS and Sony already make money off you watching ads, kinect means you can get paid too
You will get down voted for that comment but as an adult with a job and responsibility this is normal.
This boo crunch time attitude belongs to children and communists
bring on the disagrees but I promise you I'm not trolling
