There are some unsettling albeit well-implemented changes in Diablo III that threw me off at first but become less of a problem the more I played the game. Change is mostly good as far as Diablo is concerned.
The monk is probably one of the coolest game characters I've ever had the pleasure to play as. It's incredible how swiftly and deftly the monk can take out huge hordes of enemies. Teleporting from place to place and sending out lightning from your fists makes you...
Tom Clancy games have never been like Call of Duty...
HA!
I agree completely.
Open world games with a strong atmosphere (with many environmental cues you might normally miss with music playing) do not need soundtracks going all the time.
I do still appreciate music during cutscenes or emotional moments.
"You can build farms and mills to harvest food and defensive towers to protect your land, but one of the most interesting features is being able to ally with other players and work together to build these towns."
Sounds a lot like Evony. And we all know how that one turned out.
Developers lie about, hype or misrepresent things all the time.
I remember reading a Game Informer exclusive interview with Infinity Ward when they made Call of Duty 4. They stated that even the grass was going to be animated and would move and blow in the wind.
But did that happen? Nah. They couldn't even make good on a promise of non-static grass.
Bottom line - I don't trust devs' statements until I play a beta or a finished pro...
ANOTHER pokemon game?
...sigh
Smh
As long as there are diamonds in the rough, mobile gaming is here to stay. If it all turns to crap, then public interest will fade, and so will the revenue that would urge mobile game developers onward.
Oh, no... *cries river of tears*
Do you know how many other games will be played during the downtime? Other developers are probably feverishly staring at their server population numbers going up slowly from bored CoD players.
Anything done purely relying upon business perspective is doomed to fail.
...I think it's time for Ryu to take a nap for 5 or ten years.
Yawn, boring, bland, blah blah lame rhetoric.
Unreal Engine is old, tired and overused. I can smell an unreal engine game from a mile away.
Haha
Bullshit.
Playing an intense game on iPad is ALWAYS awkward and clumsy, I don't care how well the touch controls are organized. Relying on controls laid out on a single 2D plane to maneuver in a 3D environment is 100% of the time going to present issues of one kind or another.
Seriously? I'm not even going to dignify this news story with a response to the question being proposed.
Not sure about you, but I love watching my arrows sail through the air and smack an enemy in the head, knocking them back 6 feet and making them tumble down a ravine.
The only thing resembling a kill cam that I have now is the following:
- ` (tilde)
- player.setav speedmult 500
- Dragon shout slow time
- Shoot arrow at far away enemy
- Zip over to enemy and stand next to him
- watch m...
I absolutely believe this.
