The same reason that people still play games like Super Mario 64, Metal Gear Solid, Ocarina of Time, and many other games that came out more than a decade ago. They are brilliant games that, for some people, never get old.

I feel like Alan Wake is the Twin Peaks of video games, but I've never played Deadly Premonition so I can't really speak for that game.

Yeah, surprisingly, I found that I enjoy riding the bikes in first person much more than I do in third! I suppose I fix for the bug is to max out the stamina skill lol

The only bug I've experienced is in the single player while riding bicycles in first person. It says to hold X to ride, and tap to ride faster. When I hold X, it rides faster, and tapping does the same thing. If I exit first person, however, these controls work and I don't kill myself riding a bike lol.

Really minor bug though, the rest of the game is rock solid so far!

If people didn't invest in a product before having tried it, nothing would ever be bought. Hence the idea of investors, quality assurance, and more. Look into the game before you buy it; check reviews, watch gameplay videos, ask friends, etc. Or, just spend your money how you see fit, and if you end up getting a bad product, do more research next time and don't blindly support developers and publishers.

This is going to be my first Dragon Age game. I've not really been a fan of Bioware's recent games, but this one seems to be straying away from the corridor-like worlds, and heading to a more open-ended setting.

Really excited to get my RPG fix on current-gen... hopefully this will tide me over for a long while! At least until The Witcher 3 is out :)

Damn, that's a really, really big map. That being said though, how much of that is just open, empty space? Most JRPG maps are quite big, but the vast majority have a handful of towns where everything goes down, and the space in between is used primarily for grinding. Either way, this map --and the recent influx of news on FFXV-- is a good sign.

While I do agree that this year was particularly underwhelming in the video game department thus far, I have to disagree with a couple of your choices for "dishonorable mentions."

First, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was probably one of my favorite games this year. I don't know whether or not you've played it, but I'd like to know why you categorized it as you did and what you think about it?

Second, Watch_Dogs. By no means was Watch...

I think that LBP has always been more than a 'kids game.' I've played it since the first one, and while the stories have always been lighthearted and fun, the creation tools have only gotten more and more powerful. I remember when they introduced the logic systems into LBP2. It opened up so many possibilities for players to create ingenious levels if they put the time and effort in.

Kids can get a kick out of the lovable characters and design, but I think adults h...

*Is Uncharted 4 even confirmed for 2015? I thought it was simply announced so that people know that it's coming eventually.

The only games on this list that I'm really excited for in 2015 (besides Uncharted, which might not be a 2015 game) are Evolve and Persona 5. The rest are just meh for me. The Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and Bloodborne (and probably a lot more that I'm forgetting) are what I'm really, really, really excited for.

The PS4 version has a demo? In North America? I've checked the Playstation Store at least 10 times, the last time being this morning, and couldn't find anything about PES 2015. Tried searching for it, tried going to the demo section, and even tried the website. The only thing I've found is the PS3 demo...

Is the PS4 demo for North America out yet? I thought it was supposed to come out last month but I can't find it in the store. Has it been delayed?

"... just with lesser cars and tracks." So not the full game. Calling it a demo isn't accurate, but it's far more accurate than calling it the full game.

From what I've seen and heard, you get about 11 cars out of a total of 55. You also get only one location out of the five or six that are in the full game. How many tracks that turns out to be is still to be seen. So, all-in-all, you're getting about 20-25% of the game as apposed to if you were act...

I don't blame you wanting to get the video out there as soon as possible, but you emphasized pretty extraneously that the full game was being distributed for *free* to those with PS+, which is just false. This sort of misinformation is what leads to people being upset in the first place.

This guy knows that the PS+ edition of Driveclub isn't the full game, right? It's like, 11 of the cars, and one location of the 5 or 6 that are in the game. At least that's how it was the last time I checked. The full game, if you have PS+, is $50. The PS+ edition is basically a taster for those who are on the fence about buying it or not.

According to this review, yes. I've played the original PS version and loved it all the same.
