Can't say that I am. Looks cool, but it definitely looks like something that people will get tired of quick. Personally, I just don't feel the excitement I felt when they announced and showed off Guitar Hero and Rock Band.
And that has a lot to do with Blizzard being able to supply fresh content when needed. They are smart folks and not to mention that there's always something to do in MMOs like WoW.
The majority of gamers are addicts. Dads, single dudes, kids, teens, whatever it is, gaming has become a very addicting habit. And it's been becoming so, and will continue to do so, as graphics improve making things feel and look realistic. Personally, I can say that, by definition as per that article, I'm a game addicts as are probably the majority of the gamers that visit N4G.
Agree. I've been a follower of the GT series since the PS1 era. However, waiting for GT5 is feeling like a chore rather than something I should be excited about. The game looks good, but after seeing all these screenshots and gameplay, I'll probably be a bit jaded when playing it.
Even on a handheld Gran Turismo looks good. Speaks volumes of the development teams over at Polyphony Digital.
beavis4play,
You must be the dumbest person alive to even utter such words. Search google, my friend. Uncharted 2 was supposed to release on November 2009 but got pushed up to October 13th, 2009. 1UP has it, and http://www.vgreleases.com/p... scroll down and read. As for the God of War news, it was Rumor (meaning that it's not considered authentic unless confirmed by more than one source) and has...
Nah, he just sounds like a retard. The game has a lot of potential, just ended up being bland, sadly. Now, X-Men: Legends - that was a good game.
The game was ok. It wasn't anything to go crazy for. The review is pretty much on point with a lot of the game. It's too much like the first one with little change which is why some folks are weary of getting it.
Nah, I don't think its to that extent. MW2 would have crushed a lot of games, but that's only because it's a multiplat title. Not saying that the game is crappy because everyone knows that its a solid franchise, but there are a lot of games on that list that could give MW2 some competition.
Meh, out of that list of the 7 being delayed, only 4 interest me. So, I'm not really upset at the push. Companies aren't stupid to go and compete against MW2. They saw what COD4 did and they're well aware of what it's going to do this time around with the community it has developed. Out of that list, I can probably list 4 or 5 games that gamers would have definitely gotten if it were released this holiday season.
Pretty funny, James Bond, considering that the site's been up since July 2009. Must be some crazy Twilight Zone stuff going on.
I would't doubt it. In an interview with IGN, one of the guys re-mastering the game stated that they were working on adding higher-res textures to the Collection. I mean seriously, wouldn't everyone want a game that ISN'T half-a$$ed and looks better than the originals? I sure as hell would. 2x anti-aliasing is already in there along with the HD resolution. I'd prefer to have nice lookin' textures along with that, personally. If the game is going to look better, then by all means they can take...
I find it hilarious that these people are reporting this story as lame because it comes from a smaller site. Just last week, as AclayPS3 said, Eyepet was announced to be delayed before Sony announced it. Sony fanboys are really the pinnacle of desperation and idiocy. Why? Because if it's not mentioned by a big publication, they won't accept it as news.
Anyway, it really does suck that this game is being pushed back, though.
I wonder how Chinatown wars will play on the PSP. I doubt that the controls will be as intuitive as they were on the DS - and that was one of the best parts of the game.
I'm pretty sure Microsoft learned from their last mistake (at least I would like to hope they did). Moving forward, I'm confident that Microsoft will be slightly more conscious toward the development of their hardware. I mean, you've never heard of a Zune red ring or brick as much as the 360, right?
I really see no reason for Microsoft to enter the handheld market that's currently being dominated by both Sony and Nintendo (especially Nintendo). At this point, they're better off just sticking to the Zune HD (which will also play games) and let the handheld "consoles" duke it out. Both PSP and the DS have already gained a massive fanbase; were Microsoft to attempt this, they'd have no place in this niche, personally.
What I want to know is if Square Enix is planning on releasing the franchise to next-gen consoles. Final Fantasy is great and all, but variations are good - how about a Parasite Eve?
I will have to concur. I've played the game and can say that it's pretty good. The author hits the nail on the head with his points. If you've never played the game, or the series, I'd suggest you spend the next week or so giving it a shot. It's a solid series.
Indeed. Some people just hate wires. I, personally, don't use them because I was repeatedly beat with them by my father as a toddler for liking Strawberry Nesquik as apposed to Chocoloate Nesquik. That bastard...
LOL Now, whoever does that, I swear I'd buy it. what's even better, Bachata hero!
