Probably PS5, unless my PS4 breaks, don't need a Scorpio (have a PC, which can play all the same games) and don't care about the Neo. If my PS4 breaks will probably pick up a Neo if/when an exclusive I want is released.
My housemate will almost definitely get the NX, so no point in me getting that.
It's in Beta now, kinda f'd though, they have to have the highest quality textures the PC versions have (which are usually 4K), so can badly impact the already not too great performance, don't support custom sounds, so any gun or sword mod makes no sound and can't be compressed so fill up the 900MB limit fast.
Apparently, Bethesda and Sony are working on fixing the issues though, so hopefully it's all sorted before it's open to the public.

God of War has been in development for 3 years and already has an ESRB rating, it's way closer than some are pretending it is.
Why would they end that when we have seen literally nothing running on the Scorpio? Are Xbox fanboys going to be saying "wait until the Scorpio releases" to dodge all PS4/Neo comparisons to the Xbox One for the next 18 months?

Announcing 2 new consoles doesn't seem like the actions of a company about to bail out.
I think it was Dark Souls 3 that had one in it recently and put a big smile on my face, went and read it on the toilet for that authentic feeling of old.
Did some of you expect them to throw out all the work they did on the PS3 version and start again? Sure the game won't be challenging for any technical achievements, but it has a good enough art style to not look ugly. Hopefully, they can work out a lot of the technical issues though, be a shame for it to be ruined by bad performance and it won't have the excuse Shadow of The Colossus had, with it pushing the PS2 to its limits.
Not necessarily true, the rumours didn't originate from the same source, for all we know the Neo rumours could have originated from some who only knows so much about the Neo's specs, not all. It wouldn't be the first time a leaked PlayStation's specs were wrong, the PS4 was heavily rumoured to have only 4Gb of GDDR5 RAM, when it had 8.

The only way MS win is if the Windows store becomes a big player on the same level as Steam, if not they've weakened the Xbox brand massively for very little. Either way, we won't have the answer for whether it was worth it or not for years. I'm sure PC only users aren't complaining though.

Yes, it's a good thing, all that tieing it to the movies would do is restricted them, this way Insomniac are probably mostly free to use what they like.
As for who would be better, I think both would do a great job, but Insomniac would do a better Peter Parker, kinda want Sucker Punch to do an Iron Man game, Iron Man is the perfect super hero for a game. Though I don't know if Sony would have a first party working on an I.P they don't own.

I don't think it will handle 4K/30 without issues, nevermind 4K/60, devs have shown they will always go with more prettiness over performance, so unless MS or Sony make 4K a requirement (I really doubt it) most will probably go with 1440p upscaled to 4K with really nice visuals (I would actually prefer this too, as I don't have a 4K TV).

The Scorpio's rumoured specs won't be able to deliver 4K games with no problems, so don't get your hopes too high that the Neo's will, might do PS4 quality games at 60FPS maybe, though I wouldn't be shocked if devs go with graphics over frame rate.

It's part of the PS4 family, so it's not a new-generation PlayStation console, hence the PS4.5 or PS4K name, it's really not hard to understand. Even if you can argue it's a generational jump in power (I don't think it is, 2X seems too low for that), Sony doesn't consider it such, they consider it the equivalent of a Gameboy Colour, PSP (insert all the different PSPs they made) or New 3DS.
I really hope they don't kill one of them for the sake of emotions, I want Kratos and Marcus whooping ass all game, old age be damned.
Also 10/10 beards on display, you can't kill a man with a beard that nice.
