Far Cry hasn't been the same since 3. I played 3 and was in utter amazement. I told all my friends to get it, and they seemed to enjoy it too.
Playing Far Cry 4 was just like playing a prettier Far Cry 2. I'm not at all interested in Far Cry Primal. Sure, they're changing it up, but I think they're getting rid of all the things that made Far Cry kinda fun.
Though, admittedly, if they announced another Far Cry in the form of 3 or 4, I would def...
I hope we can have a Bloodborne play-style in Dark Souls 3.
Bloodborne was my first "Souls" game. The only reason I bought into it was because of the gore and watching the intro and seeing all these creepy creatures. After seeing the art-style, I pre-ordered and picked it up day 1, same with it's DLC.
Dark Souls 2: SOTFS launched a few weeks (maybe a month?) after Bloodborne and I bought it and just recently finished it (games like Witcher came ...
I'm upset that Dark Souls 3 and Uncharted 4 release so close together. I'm a huge Uncharted fan, but for some reason, I'm more excited for Dark Souls 3... But, this is the first year I remember to have games launching the month (even week of) my birthday. The last game I had to be somewhat excited for around my B-day was Trials Fusion.
They both should be epic but splitting time between the two will be difficult. I definitely will finish Uncharted the week it come...
yeah, it's busy. But, I can't have fun playing it anymore. I loved it a launch (PS3) and loved it at launch (PS4) until they added purchasable weapons and perks that weren't included with the season pass.
Their worst mistake when it comes to competitive play. Every single one of my friends (there were about 7 of us that played daily) moved on after that.
Don't game-share, then. Or game-share, but don't complain when everything isn't 100%
Do you forget Christmas 2014? I think it was down until new years.
I don't remember PSN being down since then. Not saying it hasn't, it just hasn't for me (other than scheduled maintenance).
@tyler, I'm in PA and it's not working.
Lucky you.
That's cool that they added Blood Rocks for 60 insight. I never tried more than 2 weapons in my initial playthrough (main game) since It was a lot of effort to get two +10.
I tried upgrading the weapon you got for killing the two beasts in the well, but even at +10 I didn't find it better than my +10 saw clever and +10 Ludwigs blade.
(I'm strictly talking PVE. Never found PVP enjoyable in this game).
I'm sorry, but paying $20 for a pack like this drives me nuts. I loved the DLC (I 100% "trophied" it), that Laurence First of Vicar was a total prick.
But, praising the game for charging $20 and making a decently lengthed DLC seems out of my "wheel house."
It's sad that we have gotten to this. DLC should always be like this, especially when paying $15+. (I'm thinking back to Fallout 3)
I could only imagine what...
Great point. PS3 spoiled us because online was free so they offered a $50 service that gave you free games monthly. In order for it to have value on PS3 (so people would subscribe) they sometimes offered great games like Bioshock Infinite.
Now, plus is mandatory for online play and is why most people subscribe. They could offer zero free games and people would still subscribe.
I'd love to see AAA games offered, but the odds are for me already owning that ...
buying usedin spite of the industry... bum.
IF the game has microtransactions, it shouldn't be $60. Bottom line.
If you want to make a complete game, no more DLC, no more "want this camo, pay," I'll pay $80 for a game.
$60 for a game, $50 for a season pass, season pass didn't get you everthing, so if you want that camo, pay an additional 5.99. Wait 6 months for all season pass content to be released, wait 1 week and see the game + season pass on sale for $50.

THis sites formatting makes me want to throw up. So hard to read.
Weren't demos mandatory back when Xbox 360 launched? I remember it was a selling point for live.
Now, it's rare to get a demo. Quite sad, honestly.
Most disappointing game this year for me was RB6: Siege. After they announced a release date, I was counting down the days.
Then, news broke that there was no Single Player. Then I played the beta and wasn't impressed at all. Then, I read reviews and watched streams and noticed everything was locked and they were selling "coins" that you could use (instead of playing) to unlock weapons, attachments, characters, etc.
I'm so sour over the wh...
it definitely wasn't E3. It was around this time last year for the playstation anniversary thing.
I dont understand... Does anything have Infinite replay value? I mean, I never felt that way about any game ever, let alone Fallout.
Once I've done or seen everything once in a game, I'm usually done. The only game in recent memory that I've went back to play for sheer entertainment (no trophy/achievement) is The Last of Us.
One thing I can say about Fallout is, I've played 30 hours and have only done 5 story missions (character level 44).
I wanted to watch the video, but they're spoiling the villians behind the missions. One thing I liked about some of the core game's side missions is having no idea who was behind some of the mischief.
I haven't played any of the DLC that I Got with the season pass since launch. I guess I'll be re-visiting Batman Arkham Knight next week to complete all the DLC.
I'm not sure I'm ready for the cost of a new engine.
On consoles, TT games launch at $20. If you wait until all episodes are available and them buy, you usually can grab their games on sale for $5. Example: PSN had Tales from the Borderlands for like $3.75 last week and $7 a few weeks before that.
Point is: I buy telltale games for their story-telling. They're usually 8-12 hour games that tell an entertaining story and they carry a low cost ($)....
@kale, which does affect the game. Ubisoft proved it with Rainbow Six that they can't be trusted with Microtransactions.
Most of the camos have to be bought with Rainbow credits, which you can't earn in-game unless you buy them with real money. The in game currency that you can earn "renown" is around 140 for a loss, 250 for a win. To unlock all characters (every character is locked) in a faction, its 5,000 renown. Theres probably about 6 factions, totaling ...
