1x camera = $40

A few people corrected me on the PS3 250Gb at spot 85 (at the time of this writing). I missed it, it was not intentional as I'm admitting it here. Also got a nasty PM from a PS3 fanboy chap that is getting the ignore treatment! It cures all the fanboy diseases from my point of view!!!
Ironically, the Wii isn't at the top of the list, but almost every month it is the top selling console. PS3 almost always rank above Xbox 360 on amazon.com sales chart, but by NPD time...
I don't see any reason why they should delay it. When I tried it, it worked really well. You just build an experience that is suitable to the hardware, not the other way around. Unfortunately, that is a luxury that doesn't exist in the real world.
If it is a success, more money will come in to continue research it until it gets better.

PS3s problem with parallel processing has more to do with the limitedness of the SPU. Those aren't full on cores, but paired down with limited memory. So fitting in enough data for each "pseudo core" is part of the problem. Some workloads don't do well when you split them up and some even impossible. With that said, if you can fit it in with a lot of work, it will run like a dream. Fast computationally, but have memory issues when it comes to sharing data using the bus. The ...
