True however I can see that if developers start demanding this of all platforms, they will be obliged to implement it across the board. I wouldn't be surprised if it does get added to PSN at a later date.

The tales of series is one of the big reasons I enjoy my PS3.
Same with me. I'm not so impressed with Sony's launch lineup - I think Xbox One has the stronger launch lineup - but I know Sony will be bringing some great games over time (as they both will) and so I got both systems.
I don't see what Xbox has to do with it. Wouldn't you like to know about reports of a system you're buying overheating? Even if the safeguard is there it's still nice to know these things ahead of a purchase.

the new Vita just doesn't really feel like an upgrade at all. worse screen and they removed the 1080 scaler which wasn't going to be used so that's fine, but all they did was add 1 GB of internal memory which is really a joke these days. How generous of them :)
It's got an extra hour of battery life but it's at the expense of the nice OLED screen so it's not really very good. You can swap batteries but you need a screwdriver to remove 7 screws.
I think it's kinda funny that nobody's talking about how the new vita has a removeable battery. Cuz then it's kinda like an Xbox controller.. lol
But seriously, I might have to pick up a Vita before the new ones come out, the OLED screen is so much better that even the improvements just don't seem to outweigh the shitty LCD screen.
It is the same as saying when the PS3 came out that the PS2 instantly became junk. It wasn't true then and it's not true now.

Your perception of reality is the problem. PS3 and 360 are both good consoles with good game libraries.
You know they fixed most of those for free, I seriously doubt the Xbox repair team adds repair/replacement jobs as 'new units sold'.
