Agree totally with you. Last top preorder chart I saw had CoD:Ghosts for 360 on top by a huge margin.
In my opinion, after a full generation, Xbox 360 and PS3 are pretty much equal. They're both good for different things. PS3 has a certain type of game on it and 360 has a certain type of game on it, then you have the multiplats on both.
This gen will likely work out the same, but we really won't know for several years to come.
What I have seen though are people on various sites cancelling their PS4 preorders and going to Xbox One as to them Xbox One has the launch games.
I'm getting both so I don't really care but it is an interesting thing going on. There are people out there that are waiting on the PS4 to get more games before they buy. That will come, but to them, it's a preorder cancel for launch day.

Yes, it IS 1080p. It's 900p internally and then upscaled to 1080p by the Xbox One. What it's not is 1080p native.

There is no long term strategy for the generation of machines that the Xbox One and PS4 are in. Neither are capable of 4K gaming.
And before you start about 4K movies think about this for a moment. A 4K movie is over 100GB in size. You cannot fit that on a blu ray disc and nobody is downloading 100GB movies anytime into the distant future. so much for future proofing, you are talking out of your ass.

Did you even see why the old ones are incompatible? The new ones have additional features that no system has ever had. Modular upgradable components allowing you to add things such as a working speedometer to your wheel later down the line.
