Xbox already sold a million consoles in 24h. Compare that to the wiiu that's sold less than 4 million in a year and you can see who doesn't want what.

I think you hit the nail on the head there. We need longer console cycles simply because the games now take years to complete instead of months. If the console lifecycle is too short, you'll end up with a lot of games that get abandoned, not even started, or 'Rysed'.

Also, just because it took them 13 countries to sell a million doesn't mean they failed. That is still a huge success by console standards, even if Sony did better.

I enjoyed this game a bit, but the multiplayer.. there's no voice communication. This is why more people are playing Ghosts than this.

I believe the reason it won in the game loads is the difference in how the games are installed. I don't believe the PS4 actually fully installs to the HD and is going to the disc for some stuff, while the XB1 installs the game fully, at a cost of time up front. So it's a bit of a trade off. More time on first install = faster load time every time after that.

I think that the cover system has improved a bit then, but sometimes it can be iffy, almost like you have to be in the right spot for the game to clue in that this is what you're trying to do.

KZSF definitely is beautiful, but it's definitely a mediocre game. If you want to know why, just check the angry joe review of it. He nails every reason why this game is not great. And before you call me a fanboy, I own this game and have beaten it.

It hasn't paid off anything yet. They need years of people buying lots of games and PSN subscriptions for it to pay off. All they've managed to do so far is sell a bunch of break-even consoles and some PSN subs and not that many games in the grand scheme of things since there's almost none out there right now. Let's not declare a major victory for PS4 before anything has happened. It's going to take them years to see if it was worth it or not.
