I don't care if they use the male or female character lead in their trailers/demos/marketing as long as the game is awesome.
However, I do hope Bioware lightens up on some of the overt gender issues they have really been shoehorning into the DA series (looking at you Anders) the past two games. I just don't want them to try and push an agenda at the expense of quality character creation and story writing.

I have learned what hell is.......EA press conferences on repeat.
Most boring press conference ever.
EA is free to do whatever they would like with what they own, but I think they would generate way more hype and good will if they waited until Bioware and their other devs (Visceral) had something real to show.
At that point they can give us something more substantial than a second teaser trailer and it makes the game easier to market.
But yes I am aware marketing is critical, and I am still kicking after such a pathetic conference, much to my surprise....
If it makes you feel better, I expect we will see a lot more Mass Effect stuff on N7 day (November 7). I still think there is a chance Mass Effect is pretty far along (like Alpha stage) and they will give it a dedicated little conference.
I could still be totally wrong though, but I haven't given up all hope on it hitting a March release quite yet.
It would help a great deal if EA didn't announce their games so far out when the developers are nowhere near ready to show their game.

Honestly, I liked a couple of the articles I saw on here a couple weeks ago about the Scorpio maybe being the next generation of Xbox.
It would be super clever imo if Microsoft came out and said the Scorpio is their next gen console coming out late next year or early 2018 and will work with Oculus, Steam, and is backwards compatible with all Xbox One games.

I think they aren't showing the Neo for 2 primary reasons.
One they don't want to dilute their conference by focusing too much on hardware at their conference (PS4, PsNeo, and PSVR) at the expense of showing games.
Secondly, I think they want to get the messaging/marketing piece right for Neo, since they know people have their doubts and concerns about how Neo will affect the Playstation ecosystem now and in the future. Saving Neo for another even...
