Us in UK have to wait the extra 3 days as usual. We do sometimes get games on US release date, but its rare. I'm now used to Friday release date in UK, Tuesday USA.
I thought Haze was alright really. It wasn't the best game I've played, but it also wasn't the worst.
Thats over 17 hours a day for 7 days, or 5 days doing 24 hour shifts and 2 days off.
Thats just stupid, 120 hours a week. No-one in their right mind would do those hours.
Just Cause 2 is my favourite open-world game this gen. I must have spent over 60 hours just messing around between missions.
I was playing games before then (1987). I remember playing on my friends Sinclair ZX81 around 1980ish. 3D Monster Maze was great at the time.
Only rich people could really afford computers those days, and my friends parents were rich.
I got a Commodore 64 around the mid 80's one christmas and I remember that was £200, which was a lot of money then.
I agree with gaming has come a very long way in such a short time.
I got Saboteur when it released and really enjoyed it. I found it to be a great open world, WW2, GTA type of game.
Its only the first time the disc is played. Not a big deal really. If it was every time you played the game then it would be a problem.
I have over 90 games for my PS3 on disc (around half have install's) and music and photo's etc. I have a 250gig HDD and still got about 100gig left free. Its only people with small HDD's that may have to delete stuff.
Upgrading HDD's nowadays is easy and cheap.
I pressed agree with you both as you both have good idea's that I can agree with.;)
You now know who has given you both 1 agree each.
I do like where you both are coming from, something better is needed.
Just Cause 2 is one of the most played PS3 games I have, and I have over 90 on blu-ray. It's just so much fun doing the story or messing about. One of the best open world games with very good graphics.
Supercar challenge is also good, but it's basically the same game as Ferrari challenge, with a few different cars.
yes I will be getting twisted metal.
I really enjoyed R:FoM, it was the first game I played on my PS3. Didn't get the second game as It didn't look very good in the video's I'd seen. R3, though is looking great so far and I will be buying it when released. I may get R2 used soon as its very cheap now, (seen it for less than £10). I will be up to speed with the story then.
I got Aliens v Predator (used, for PS3) for only £6 the other day, which I thought was a good deal. Only played around 10 minutes so far of the marine part, but it seems good.
Homefront was £18 used also. Will probably try that out when it drops more in price.
MoH I already have, and I thought that was good.
I have MAG also, but haven't played it for a while now.
I haven't got Singularity, but am looking for a cheap used copy to buy. I hav...
I had Cold Fear for my PS2 and thought it was a great game.
Capcom should have learn't that squad based gameplay in single player games isn't the way to go. Just look at how Lost Planet 2 turned out.
It might be good with other people playing with you, but playing on your own could be poor.
I'm not too interested in the Duke Nukem game really. It looks very similar to that Mat Hazard game which was quite poor.
Watched video gameplay of both and there is a lot better. I don't find either game funny, maybe Its because I'm an older gamer. I might have found them funny when I was 16 or so.
The only games I don't like are turn based RPG and RTS games. I have just never got into those games. I do like RPG adventure, and every other genre though.
I checked off 11 of those items on the list.
I would consider myself a hardcore gamer as I play almost every day for at least 2 to 3 hours, and have 90 blu-ray PS3 games and around 20 PC games.
Love the Silent Hill series and will be playing this when released.
Thats the thing I want most (in race saving), especially on long races, those 4 hours or more.
I have done nearly all the other races, just the long 4 hour/24 hour ones to do.
Thats a good video. This is the one game coming that I really want to play.
