I have a good PC, which will play all games at decent settings and a PS3. I always get my games for PS3, unless they aren't available for the system then I will buy them for PC.
I just prefer to play games on console.
I got Time Crisis 4 with Gun-con3 and it worked well for me. Doesn't matter which TV you have as it works with 2 sensors that attach to the top of your tv at each side. You have to calibrate the gun and stay in the same area for it to work right, and if you do it works well (does for me).
I enjoy playing Time Crisis 4 on my HDTV, looks good, just like arcade.
With the gun having all the buttons and 2 thumb sticks it works well for open world games, not just on rails ones. The...

To be honest I really don't care either. It's not that I don't have other games which are releasing to think about and play. Its only a game, (which we know very little about). News about it comes when it comes.
I don't really mind. As long as I can play my games, (on or off line), watch blu-rays etc, they can update all they want. Updates are normally to make the system better so its ok by me.
Looks good. Been waiting a while for this game. Looks like it could be a game with great gameplay and story (going by the video's i've seen). Looking forward to trying this game out. Day 1 for me.
The half arsed war on piracy part was total crap. PS3 is great at beating piracy at the moment.
Disconnection from the network, very rarely happens to me, maybe twice in three years. Clutching at straws does come to mind when reading this article.
The biggest thing which people would miss out on by not getting a PS3 is the amazing games which are exclusive to PS3. The best exclusives on any platform at the moment IMO.
I'm just getting RDR this month. Alpha Protocol looks like a good game to me and It releases just after this month ends, I'll be getting that game.
If I had a 360 I would get Alan Wake, but I don't. That does look like a nice game, interesting story. Pity it's not releasing on PC.
I got my PS3 about 4 months after launch (UK). Got it with Resistance FoM, NFS Carbon and Motorstorm. After playing those games and seeing the graphics etc for the first time I was amazed at how nice it looked on my HDTV. Played Resistance all the way to the end and found it was one of the best games I had ever played, amazing. Also Motorstorm looked and played great.
After experiencing my PS3's new games and finding out more about the system I was in no doubt I had made the right cho...
My PS3 wishlist is very small. All I really want is GT5. This game will take up literally 100's of hours gametime. I love prologue and even other racing games, but I need the daddy of racers.
@van-essa,
You just owned yourself, LOL.
This looks like Mass Effect set in a spy/James Bond world. I am very interested in this game and hope it turns out good. I like how they have put RPG elements in it, which should make it better. The graphics aren't amazing but the gameplay and story looks like they could be.
Not long to wait now, just over a month. Been watching out for this for a long time and its finally around the corner. I hope its as good as I think it will be.
I was going to buy this for PC but the DRM has put me off. Looks like I will wait for the PS3 version(If there is one) or wait till I finally get a 360, which I may do for Alan Wake if it gets some great reviews.
The Sega ultimate megadrive/genesis collection is great value with some brilliant games on it.
It cost me £25 when it was released and with over 40 games it was well worth it then. Now its even cheaper.
It is suprising how well some of the games still look and play now. Streets of rage 1,2,3, Golden axe 1,2,3, Sonic 1,2,3,and other sonics, Altered beast, Space harrier, and more. Brilliant.
After Burner was a favourite of mine years ago in arcades, not long games b...
A proper wild west setting in a game is going to have swearing, sex, brothels, violence, murder etc. That is what happened at that time in history. If you take out all of these things then you're left with a very boring game, which no-one would play.
This looks like its going back to Warrior Within, Sands of Time type of game and graphics. I do like the originals better than the last POP, that one was poor IMO. This new one though, the graphics look PS2 (not HD). Watched some gameplay on GT and it is very similar to Warrior Within/ Sands of Time. If it's a fairly long game with decent reviews then I might give it a go as I loved WW/SoT.
At least the DLC is cheap. Not like some games I wont mention.
Having the Top Gear track is great. Will try and beat the STIG's times in all those powerful cars. It should be hard to beat his times as he is very good.
This looks way better than the last POP. It's a mix between Sands of Time (scenery) and Warrior Within (swordplay/fighting). The last POP didn't interest me but this new one looks better and more interesting by going back to the PS2 era style of POP. The graphics aren't anything special though, very similar to PS2.
I do like the way this is turning out, better than I imagined.
I wanted to buy this also, but not due to the DRM. One day when I buy a 360 I will get it then.
