Had it been an ACTUAL wwii game I’m sure it would have done better. With known battles, known weapons, no politically correct nonsense, brutality, gore etc.
It could have been a great opportunity. Instead they shipped BF1.5 without the WWII feel or proper look.
This appears to be the case with most EA games though...
From what I played on both demos, I got bored quick. Each omission followed the exact same structure.
Fun movement and cool customization don’t save it from the boring loop.
Plus the stronghold...we beat it in 30 minutes. If there’s only 3 of those....
I can’t wait for all the Anthem fanboys to go through everything the game has to offer within a week. Take the graphics and flying away and you have a very generic game.
The VIP demo made me cancel my preorder. It was so repetitive when it actually worked. All the missions were exactly the same. The only good thing was flying and customization but that is going to be a massive grind or give EA money.
Plus only 3 strongholds? I beat the one in the demo in 30 minutes on hard with my friends...the game seems like it has very little content.

I’ll wait until it’s on a deep sale. I’m not spending an extra $30 so I can play it on PS4 @ 30fps. My Pc can run it above 60fps at 1440p. I’m not paying more for less.
Seems you’re too dumb to understand its not just a launcher.
Imagine if you bought the game on PS4 and now your security is trash, it installs Fortnite and the unreal engine without you wanting it. That’s what it does.
It’s not just a launcher. It installed Fortnite AND the Unteal engine. It adds tons of extra gigs on your hard drive whether you like it or not.
It has no mod support, no reviews, terrible security, no sharing, barely function party system, etc. It’s not just a launcher.
Imagine having Xbox live or PSN. Now remove EVERYTHING but the store. That’s the epic launcher. It’s just a store that installs a bunch of shit you don’t want with horrible security and...

It’s not just a launcher. It forces you to instal Unreal Engine, Fortnite, has poor security and next to no features. Hundreds of thousands of credit cards just leaked from the epic store.

Um. If a store like steam came out with the same features but better prices I’m pretty sure most people would move from steam.
Epic isn’t competition because it doesn’t offer anywhere near the amount of features and games steam does.
Yea so I’ll just download a launcher that is prone to security issues, FORCES you download Fortnite AND the entire engine which gobbles up hard drive space, has no user reviews or community engagement, has no proper party system or sharing functions JUST because they publisher decided to take some extra money?
