The more this shot gets defended the more we’ll see it in other games. Which isn’t good. If you’re ok with mediocrity for a premium price that’s on you.

Technically it is a thing. It was in full effect during the Cold War. It was an irrational fear of the Russians. Mind you there was actually a threat back then of nuclear war but today people are TERRIFIED of Russians for some reason.

You can literally apply that to ANYTHING. If the next Forza came out and it was like Mario kart “who cares it’s just a video game, it’s not a real car for racing on a track”

People like you are why we get this garbage. The game has a foundation and THATS it. It has no content. It “coming later” is no excuse for a 7 year project to launch with less content than the original destiny which was rebooted a year before release.
I expect a looter shooter to have more than 10 guns that don’t all feel and look the same. I expect armor to be dropped with stats for builds. I expect more than 3 armor pieces. I expect a variety of environments. I expect level design and combat that uses the unique movement mechanics. I expect to not have to grind for a week to get a single piece of over priced armor. I expect smart AI. I expect to play the game and not stare at loading screens.
That’s not true. I played lost patch. The issues are still there.

Diablo actually has content dude. Anthem doesn’t.
That’s about a 6 hour grind.
Good luck earning the set. It took me 10 hours to get enough coins for ONE chest peice.

Well I don’t know what to tell you then. Most reviews don’t like it. The general reception from people playing on Access is “meh, it’s pretty average”.
But be excited. Go ahead. The disappointment is in front of you.
At least destiny had varied enemies and varied environments.
As someone who has access, the trial is pretty much the whole game in terms of what you do. I hit 18 hours and just stopped.
There isn’t much to keep you chasing loot.
That’s why Pc games make billions each year. Because people ARENT buying them.
