I don’t get what people are getting addicted to. It’s not like the loot is any better than what you already have lol. It’s always there same shit.
It’s really not. Nothing really changed ost 2 and a half hours. The weapons and gear you unlock isn’t any different. It’s just “stronger”. The level design doesn’t really change. The bosses are all recycled all the way through the game.
You’ve really only missed the strong holds which are the best parts but 2 of the 3 are recycled anyway. So you’ve pretty much seen the whole thing. I’m at 19 hours. Feel like I wasted my time.
It’s fun for a few hours and then you realize you’re doing the same exact thing over and over with no reward because the loot isn’t loot. It’s copies of what you already have with a slight increase in power. That’s it.
Not to mention all the environments are the same. All the enemies are the same, behave the same and are brain dead, the bosses are a joke, there’s next to no armor to u lock, you have to grind for HOURS to get enough to craft a single good item of which isn’...
It’s missing the entire LOOT part of looter shooter. It also has 0 variety.
You’re the people who need to stop drinking the koolaid. The game is more barebones than vanilla destiny. Yes. I’ve played it. 19 hours and I don’t plan on going back to get a “masterwork” gun that looks and behaves exactly the same as the first gun I picked up.

The game can be fun. It’s wverything else around it that brings it down. The loot is pointless and all looks the same. The stats are borked, all the environments are identical, the story is lame and cut up, the bosses are reused over and over, there’s only 3 of the missions that matter - strongholds and they’re SHORT, the gunplay is lacking compared to its competitors, there’s next to no armor variation - only 3 per class

Played 19 hours. Had enough. No reason to continue. All weapons are the same. Most upgrades are pointless there’s not really any armors to change. All the areas look exactly the same.
If this is what you consider good then average games must be master pieces.

The shortcomings? Like no loot in a looter shooter? No environmental differences? Piss poor frame rate? Boring character dialogue? Constant loading? No armors? No actual stats? The same rinse and repeat mission structure of just collect random shit?

Anthem is awful and I’ve played 19 hours of it. It’s easily the worst looter shooter of the bunch and easily one of the worst tps games in years.

Except not all the games are the same. It’s pretty clear you’ve never played any of them.
Mario odyssey is nothing like super Mario U or sunshine. Tomb raider reboots are nothing like the past titles. Uncharted are similar because it’s one story spread across 4 games so that’s an awful example. However uncharted 4 feels much better than 1.
Can’t say the same about crackdown.
