I gave up in the strongholds. I join and one person is AFK and you can’t advance. So you spend 15 minutes into it. Someone just stands there and you can’t do anything about it and beat it.
The games a total mess. I hit level 16 and I’m already bored. It’s more repetitive than destiny 1.
The demo is basically the whole game lol. The missions you do in the demo, repeat that over and over with a different context. That’s the game. I was hoping it would be more but in Access I hit level 16 and do not intend on playing any more. I’m already bored.
It’s REALLY repetitive. You basically do the same 3 missions over and over with different context. It’s a slog. It’s a grind and the rewards are not worth it. All the weapons look the same. There’s not a lot of armor. The AI is dumb. The weapons feel weak. There’s no environmental variety etc.
That’s not an excuse. The game is available to play if you want to play it. I have it through access. Hit level 16 and uninstalled. You do the exact same thing over and over again. It’s so boring. The environments don’t change either. It’s either over grown ruins in a jungle or a cave. That’s ALL there is. All the enemies are dumb as bricks and offer no challenge.

Don’t bother with Anthem. I got it through Access and my god is it boring. The story is mediocre typical stop the big baddy who never appears from getting doomsday powers.

Yes I have it. I got it though access and I’ve hit a point in the campaign and just don’t care to continue. Hit level 16 and realized I’ve been doing the same thing over and over the entire time.
It loads constantly. Change your loadout? Loadscreen. Select mission? Load screen. Need a new mission? Load screen. Crafting? Loadscreen.
But there is no quantity either. They’ve had 2 games since the license. Before it was a single company making th games, there was a new game every year in a different genre.

Destiny had good gunplay and sound. The overall feeling of combat made up for it in Destiny.
Anthems combat doesn’t hold up. The sounds aren’t punchy. The guns feel weak. The powers feel weak.

The game is out. If you have access it’s out. I’ve been playing it and it’s not that good. It looks great. The movement is fun but once you get over the flashiness and flying...it’s pretty dull.
