(Excluding me of course).... Why do you give this guy the satisfaction of knowing he can push your buttons? His list is clearly a way to get a rise out of the PS3 supporters (and fanboys).
I have always been a Ratchet and Clank as well as Insomniac supporter and fan. I bought Resistance 1 and 2, and R&CF:TOD day one but I found myself letting ACIT slip off of my radar. I blame it on the Modern Warfare 2 effect, lol. But i will definitely get this for myself as a Christmas gift before yrs end.
Though its definitely an improvement over it predecessor, AC2 still feels boring and tedious to me. Though it does have a pretty interesting story (which honestly is the only reason I'm still playing the game). To anyone that enjoyed the 1st game, you will definitely love the sequel. But for those that didn't and are thinking this will make up for the disappointment, I say rent before buying. I'm glad I didn't give into the hype.
It's a great experience and overall an excellent package. This is gonna be a tough GOTY to call. And though I enjoy both UNCHARTED 2 and MW2, my vote goes to UC2, simply because it had more OMG moments. Which is not to say MW2 doesn't have its fair share. 09 is definitely a good time to be a gamer. Cheers.
Though I wish the campaign was a bit longer(around the 10 hr mark), I can't deny that IW has crafted another great story. Clique d as it may be, its still well told. The MP is great as well, though its more of a retooled and refined version of the 1st's MP, rather than a giant leap forward, its still a great experience and one of the best MP offerings this gen. GOTY Contender indeed. This is my opinion of the game but pls feel free to agree or disagree.

I'm currently enjoying MW2 multiplayer, i do wish the campaign was a bit longer (Somewhere between the 8-10 hr mark). But you can't deny that the game itself does not innovate in anyway, which isn't a bad thing because the game is still fun. But you see, these same sites that penalized Killzone 2 for not being innovative are completely complacent in overlooking the same fact about MW2. Regardless of the fact, both are still great experiences.
kind of game using the dual shock controller, but looks like this confirms my purchase of the 360 version.

No, what it proves is that platinum games took advantage of the 360 graphical capabilities just like Naughty Dog did with Uncharted 2. Both systems are capable of producing excellent graphics, it all falls on the devs.

and if Conviction does in fact find its way onto the PS3, and the port is handled better than Double Agent, I think it would be a welcomed addition to the PS3's already stellar lineup of games. (Wow now there's a run-on sentence for you, lol)
Im pretty sure that Eurogamer gave the game a perfect 10, so the only wild card so far is Edge. But, the way its been going so far maybe we might see a favorable review from them as well. Congratulations to ND they deserve it, and October 13 can't come any sooner.

since the rewind feature allows you to correct any mistakes, ala Grid/Dirt. Call me anal retentive but I don't think a rewind feature should be present in a simulation racer. I know its pretty much common place nowadays for racing games to have the feature but it kinda defeats the purpose for a sim to have it. Aside from that minor grip though I was pretty impressed with the demo and am considering getting the game.
Its a great franchise, if it does make the leap to the PS3 thats great news for PS3 only gamers who were dying to try it out. Kinda like the 360 getting FFXIII, MGS Rising, etc. More games for more gamers to enjoy, just don't half ass it.
This is just another example of why its important for multiplat devs to consider making PS3 its lead console.
