All the games in question are unique experiences in their own right and it's up to you to decide which one you need in your collection. I for one enjoyed Infamous more than I did Prototype. I enjoyed both Killzone 2 and MW2 equally. And if the demos were any indication of the quality of their final products, I will enjoy both GOW III and Beyonetta. If early previews are any indication, tecmo's latest foray into the TPS genre is gonna be average at best. PS3 gamers stick with Uncharted and 360 gamers stick with Gears.

As much as I believe Halo is a great FPS. Alot of reviewers seem to easily disregard some of it's flaws while pointing out those same flaws in other titles.
I wasn't as blown away by Halo 3/ODST as I was by the first two titles, or maybe I'm just starting to out grow the franchise all together. Here's hoping Halo Reach rejuvenates the love I had for Halo in the early years of 2000.
I seem to remember Halo 2 and 3 having explosive barrels as well. The distinctive look of the Helgasts are indeed iconic and memorable. I do however agree that most weapons are standard fair, but the same can be said about Halo 3 weapons with the exception of a few. As I recall Halo 2 and 3's endings are pretty lackluster as well. So please enlighten me as to why you feel Killzone 2 is any less of a great experience as Halo 3?
On the subject of the GOW III and Beyonetta Demos, they are both great (albeit different) experiences. The GOW III demo shows off the sheer epicness and brutality that the franchise has been known for. And the Beyonetta demo shows off the style and sleekness that can only be done by the DMC creator himself. (IMO Beyonetta is what DMC4 should have been, judging by the demo only of course)
Thanks alot Gamestop. Any ways this gives me a reason to go through my 4 playthrough of the game. And for any new PS3 owners looking for a great sandbox game should definitely pick this one up.
and buy infamous. It's not just a great PS3 title but one of the best of its genre. On the subject of game length, I completely agree that it all depends on the game genre in question. But who could say no to more Uncharted 2? ;)
Again, why do people see fit to nitpick at these things while leaving other games to their accord?

It's a given that not everyone is going to like Uncharted 2 but to justify that dislike by pointing out things that don't seem to be issues with other games is a bit contradictory.
If you wanted BC than you should have shelled out the extra couple hundred when the 1st batch came out. You wanted a cheaper PS3, well, beggars can't be choosers.
I'd like to see you try getting through God/Titan mode with just that combo.
Great games transcend platform. Also many people have different opinions and tastes, I for one love Killzone 2, but my friend could not get over the input lag for the aiming which is why he prefers MW2.
It even makes Lady Gagas crap music bearable. lol.

To each his/her own I guess. I respect that you enjoy it, but it just isn't my cup of tea.
Alot of people, myself included, have had to put a game on hold because of other more pressing matters. But, ive seen alot of cases where the people quitting were just sore losers that didnt want to get a bad kill/death ratio. And its because this case has been prevalent that ND decided to implement this system. It's just a game remember, so whats a 40,000 pt deduction every now and than, when whatever came up is more important.
Early quitting is a prevalent issue I've encountered with Uncharted 2. And its usually the case that the people who are losing or doing poorly are the ones quitting. So I say keep the deduction system as is because that was one aspect that was ruining the experience in my opinion.
