More Ratchet and Clank is never a bad thing. I'm stoked for a sequel to the PS4 remake.

I've pre-oredered the game so I'm hard in regardless. But I'm going in with cautious optimism. Hopefully Bend Studios was able to knock one out of the park.

You know its gonna happen. Mario Cart 8 Deluxe, Donkey Kong Country TF, New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe. Nintendo has a track record for releasing old remastered games at full retail price.

They both stand apart as amazing games, definitely GOTY quality. Bloodborne has atmosphere and visceral combat for days. Sekiro's posture system and verticality add a new and more engaging combat style to the Soulsbourne genre. From Software are master level gaming developers.

Sekiro is frustrating and damn near infuriating at times. But the pay off of failing, learning and finally beating each enemy is one of the most rewarding experiences I've had in a videogame in quite some time. Taking away that level of challenge negates what From Software was trying to do with this game.

Theyve always been half assing their ports. Especially of their older FF games.

Combat = Disagree, DMC5 > DmC
Story = Personal Preference
Bosses = Cant even remember any note worthy ones from DmC

DMC5 is a fun, fastpaced and glorious return to form for the series. And I loved every minute of it. DmC was an enjoyable but ultimately forgetful experience. IMO

It was disappointing because it could have been amazing but ended up being an incredibly short, by the numbers cover shooter. RAD placed too much emphasis on the graphical part and not enough on actual gameplay. That's not to say you can't enjoy it. It just means the game was objectively very disappointing for alot of people.

It did have fantastic atmosphere, I'll give you that. But gameplay pretty much played out like short gunfire segments interlaced with walking/sneaking + QTE events. Gameplay was the weakest point of The Order because RAD prioritized world building and graphical detail. Ut was disappointing because it didnt live up to the massive potential it haf. If they were given another shot at a sequel, I hope they can learn from their mistakes.

I will be waiting on sales to pick these and the Final Fantasy games. Not worth the asking price for what they are.

Make it multiplatform already, it's an inevitability at this point.

I cant speak for everyone. But it was an extremely shallow game. I didnt feel any motivation to finish it, non existent story, bland characters, boring world. One of the very few points I can give the game is Terry Crews' in-game dialogue. Other than that, it never really caught my attention. I wanted to like it, but I couldnt find a compelling enough reason.

Bloodborne is my personal favorite new IP this gen. But Horizon is a solid second place. Both are fantastic, congrats to GG and Sony for another amazing AAA first party game.

It's a cash grab by Square Enix, but what else is new. They re-release games with little effort put in and make money off of nostalgia. That's not to say they're the only ones that do it, theyre just one of the most prominent.

The more people that can get their hands on games like Persona 5 is a good thing. I played it on day 1 on PS4 and it is easily one of my favorite JRPGs of all time.

PS Now has never interested interested me in the slightest. I still have my PS3 and games if I ever feel the itch to play them. But if anyone enjoys the service, good for them.

@ Monolithicide
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Knack 1 and 2 for the gameplay; especially Knack 2. My point was that Knack was a critical failure and they still made a sequel. So there is hope that a follow up to The Order is possible.

Ready at Dawn focused way too much on the world building and not enough on actual gameplay. I would love for them to take another crack at it. But I highly doubt The Order is high on Sony's list of priorities. Then again, they did make Knack 2 so who knows.

People are able to enjoy a game even though it's not well reviewed. Hell, I enjoyed Knack and Knack 2, The Order 1886, Beyond Two Souls, State of Decay 2, etc. But I understand why they weren't well received. The same thing can be said about Crackdown 3. While I've only gotten about 5 hrs in, I didn't enjoy the shallow and uninteresting campaign. I dont see myself finishing the game. But for anyone who does that's great.
