@Enturax
A person who's main/only source of history is a videogame is indeed an ignorant person. There are history books and non-fiction literature for that. A videogame is meant to be a piece of entertainment. Sure there are games who's main goal is to be educational but that not the case with all games. Get off your high horse, I never said games shouldn't be taken seriously as a media form in general. I'm simply saying that fear of "historical revisionism"...
@akarogg
What? Its a game, if you're getting your history lessons from a game you have big problems.
I never understood this mentality, it's a freaking game. It's not like Battlefield was ever "realistic" anyways. I mean in what world can you parachute out of a plane, blow up another plane with a rocket launcer and get back into your plane? Just get over yourselves already.
Theyve been trying since the PS3 era, but Insomiac likes being an independent studio. I'm really surprised they havent tried to release a Resistance Collection/remaster for the PS4.
This should have gotten a spot on Sony's conference, instead of having that intermission.
IG has always made quality gaming experiences, with the exception of Fuse. The Raft escape E3 demo was fast and fun. I cant wait to play this game in September.
The trailer showed me a world I want to explore, characters I wanna learn more about and a story that is intriguing and vague. If that doesnt scream "A Hideo Kojima Game", I dont know what does.
I guess it's all subjective because that trailer showed me that ND has mastered the ability to blend cutscene and gameplay seamlessly. It left me speechless and tense the entire time I was watching it.
We literally only had a reveal trailer, one teaser trailer and this was the first gameplay trailer we got for TLOU2? How is that too much?
The games were front and center and the gameplay reveals were next level. But the show lacked the dazzle and excitement that E3 is all about. They haven't been able to top their 2016 show and I dont think well see them do it the rest of this gen. But I'll be happy if they prove me wrong.
Why they were relegating Dreams to transitions between trailers is beyond me. MM are trying to create something amazing and they aren't getting enough attention. The games that were shown blew me away, but the presentation itself was just average.
Sony had the better exclusive games in my opinion. But Microsoft had the better E3 presentation. Not liking the format Sony decided to go with this year. But whatever, the games they showed were next level. Interesting that they didnt give time to Days Gone though.
This is similar to what they did at the Playstation experience last year. Not enjoying the format but whatever, just show me the games.
Super hyped, that is how you blend gameplay and cinematic effortlessly. Naughty Dog are masters of their craft.
It's just a matter of time, with Sega's current track record of releasing games for PC.
Looks like an older dante with slightly longer hair to me. Plus we've only seen a small clip of him on a motorcycle.
We'll see, I hope they are given enough creative freedom to make the games they want with very little compromise or interference.
It's a great sign that they are investing into first party again. Cant wait to see what they will create for the Xbox brand going forward.
Congrats to Microsoft for adding five new first party studios. This is good news and a bright future for them.
Most E3 demos are scripted, it's meant to be a showcase for the game. It doesnt make it any less impressive.
