The 870mcs shotgun is amazing, but it is a little op because it has a good firing rate. Glitches aside, I don't see as many people placing health or going after objectives like bfbc2 . Revives has become less common also, maybe because the assault kit doesn't look like the medic type. I like each class is effective at going out enemies, no one is really at a disadvantage in a 1pm 1 firefight. I'm also loving the detachable scopes on the sniper rifles.
Yeah If the graphics and textures were at the highest resolution, the size of the beta would have most likely increased about 1.5 gbs

Read the article, the headline is just for hits. Even a BF vet said its amazing, and vets don't usually lie. I know some bf2 players that wouldn't touch bfbc2.
This article was really good. Pretty much what is in the console beta, they said. They gave contrasting opinions and for good reason. Bottom line: the game is fantastic, but has some fixing to do before release.
I was also taken by surprise when I jumped in bf3 thinking I'd be right at home. I really didn't know what to do first besides arm an m-com. I'm sure most of the glitches will be patched, and post support should fix the rest if there's any left. I'm loving the beta btw.
I disagree. Your playing rush, which is a bfbc mode. It should feel the same. Conquest should feel like BF2. But time will tell. The controls btw are fantastic.
Right, it's like our own fan base has turned on each other instead of having cod as the common enemy.
It's a shame. I was buying parts for my PC to play bf3 on. But I think PC gamers are just too full of themselves now. I play the classic BFs and everybody's nice and polite. But I think the PC players that are hopping onto bf3 now are going to ruin my experience.
At least you liked the controls and gameplay, I can completely understand not liking RUSH (I like it btw).
The beta has only been live for a day. I dont think coming out with reassurance is the best when they have just launched. They are gathering feedback, not trying to control the crowd. And it wasn't just a hyped game. The game is amazing. I've played the beta on 360 and their nothing wrong besides bigs and glitches. It's only 1% of the game anyway, with one map. I'm not going to dislike a game based on that.
The problem is you played for 2 hours. When I started playing, I was wondering if I was playing a BF game. But after a few hours, it grew on me and I think the beta is awesome. Everything seems to be improved. The movement (a BIG improvement), the graphics are amazing. And the hit detection is better than bfbc.
I really don't know why everyone has to compare the graphics at this point. Look at it, it looks great on consoles. Your not in any physical harm so stop complaining.
hopefully the open beta on console will include it. Operation metro is awesome, but now I want to drive vehicles.
