Bad article. If you have a console, the game is perfectly fine. Right now they are testing gameplay not graphics so I'm pretty sure they will be touched up in the final build. But I recommend that if you don't have a high end PC then console is just fine. You don't need ultra graphics to enjoy the game. Im playing the beta on xbox and it's a blast to play. I like the second part too. I really think dice has nailed the close quarters combat aspect. If they tried a subway like map in bfbc2, it would go so smoothly lol, but in the bf3 beta, I think they hit every key aspect of gameplay. The controls are amazing, the movement is top-notch, and the sound is great (I just wish there was more chatter like bfbc2). Graphics wise, I think the subway looks amazing, but I don't like the way the shadows were done from the first part of the map.
I'm playing on 360 and it's very fun. It's not stiff like previous BFs, you actually get legroom. It has a mirrors edge type movement system that just about works in every way.
I got in early and it's amazing. It's not like BFBC2 though, and not quite like the classic BFs. it's its own game.
I'm fine with my 360. The graphic are great with me. I was going to build a rig, but I dont have the time or the money for it, so I'll stick with console for now.
The beta runs fine for me on xbox. I dunno about ps3 performance but the game is amazing so far, and I haven't seen anybody abuse the map or cheating tactics like spawn trapping.
I believe the gameplay in the bf3 beta surpassed the gameplay in cod. Bf3 makes you feel like spiderman sometimes. The soldiers are so agile and that's definitely a good thing The game just feels so right.
For all the ignorant people calling the shots. PLAY THE DAMN GAME FIRST! Ive played the beta and it handles better than any FPS out there. Who cares if the graphics on console aren't on par with PC. It's still an amazing game on all platforms. Play the game an you'll see.

What are you talking about? Play the game first. The gameplay is amazing, I think it's the best FPS I've ever played in terms of controls and movement. The graphics don't really mean anything unless you want them too. I've playe the beta, and I'm overlooking the fact that the game looks better on PC and when you accept the game for what it is on each console, you'll see that the game is really amazing.

Thus should be "things COD players can't accept in a real FPS". Seriously!? He's annoyed because he can't walk over a low wall? The beta is superb, I've been playing on xbox and the gameplay mote than makes up for it's graphics (which are amazing too).
I have the beta on xbox, and once you get used to the pace of the game (nothing like bfbc2) it is fantastic. The amount of unlocks are insane and the gameplay is even better than COD. no lie, but cod has some serious competition.
We all knew it wasn't going to be on par, but I'm playing the beta on my xbox right now, and the gameplay is amazing. Don't judge before you start saying things that don't make sense.
I've been playing the beta, and it's a beta. But that's not a bad thing because the game runs fine on consoles, and it's definitely not a letdown. This game is amazing and I'm sure it will win multiplayer game of the year. Ive played it and I think it's fantastic.

They really messed up on this one. I planned to play the beta for a couple of hours until I had to leave for class, and they decide that NOWS a good time to delay they keys. This is ridiculous and they won't give a straight answer on when the keys are released. In an honest customer but I feel used because I bought the game thinking I'd be in the beta right now. We'll see what happens throughout the day though.
