the pc version will have dedicated servers, and the consoles are suposed to have gears1 style matchmaking.
i was playing gears 1 and this kid was very good. he was literaly 9 years old and had a 1.8 kd with 6k kills. he was as good as me i was baffled.
you guys are saying flop, because you think it only sold 100k units first day. funny. the game had like 500k pre-orders in NA probably 300k outside NA and it will get another 100k from non pre-orders first day. thats 900k. flop very funny.
this game got a 89 from metacritic
it had amazing graphics for its time
it had an awsome story
it had great gameplay and replayability
yet it only sold .43 million copies when it should have sold at least 2m
there still loosing from every console sold. it cost like 335 dollars to put everything in the slims box. so theres 35 dollars plus the 20 or so the people selling it get(example game stop) so thats about 55 dollars. and that was reported a couple of weeks ago.
anyway even with a 360 price drop i dont think it will affect sonys good sales to much. i dont even think they will be tempted to drop there price this year if 360 starts selling better because of there price drop.
that walmart deal was for 1 week. and yea the cheap 360 model is at 200 and elite 300. next year they could be cut to 150/250. and the next year 100/150.
the ps3 could eventually drop there price that low to but doing so would nearly run sony out of bisnuiss. ps3 shouldnt be able to frop there price untill mid next year.
in order for ps3 to get to 2-5 million ahead of the 360 it would have to sell better then the wii. also how in the world can u belive the ps3 now sells as good as the 360 in the us. its only been that way for the last couple of months. and thats because the slim and a 100 dollar price cut. when 360 cuts its price it will go back on ps3 by a lot.

im sick off you ps3 fanboys being mad because the game isnt on your console. halo 3 recived a 94% on metacritc. and its still the most played game on xbox. overhyped, over-rated i think not. it may be your opinion that its just average buy 90% of other gamers disagree.
i think forza 3 is selling quit well. it should finish with like 3.5 million units.mass effect 2 should get up to like 500k pre orders as it is up to its release. and at mininum it should sell 770k first week.
i think mass effect 2 will do like 1.1 million first week. the reason mario galaxay 2 is so low is because it is a very casual game on a very casual console. wii games dont pre-order well because casuals dont pre-order. i also agree SC C needs some luck bcause those numbers arnt great for that awsome looking game.

i think your making up those GOW numbers up. god of war 2 did 850k in its first 3 days. not 2 million. it did 2.5 million life time and god of war 1 did 3 million. these games did this on a much higher install base. i wouldnt expect god of war 3 to sell more then 3m or you will be disapointed.if i had to guess id say GOW3 will sell 1 million its first week. i cant belive your saying 4m in a week. that would be nonscence if you were predicting 4m for its life time.

halo 1,2 and 3 all had metacritic of 94+. and the sales of the games since the first 1 have increased(excludinf odlc) so from that the game should sell at least 10 million copies and have a metacritic of 92+

they maybe multiplatform but there 2 of the best looking games coming out. i seen some landscape footage for crysis 2 for 360 and ps3. they look the same and the gam will have the best looking graphics of any game ever released.
the demo is a year old and the final game wont have bad graphics. just look at this.
