well i beat MW2's singleplayer in 3 1/2 hours and it was terrible so 4 hours of goodness is better.
first npd only does america sales while vg does all of NORTH AMERICIA. that the reason why npd is behind vg's.
second ive fallowed vg for 3 years now and they havent once said any of the consoles were ahead of the offial data EVER.
i dont ecpect it to outsell mw2. i think it will probably hit 10.5 million on 360 though.

no halo 3's pre-orders were 1.7 million in america before launch. major nelsion said so the day the game came out. so probably 2.2 worldwide.
halo 3 odst has sold 5.5 million copies so add that onto halo 3's 11 million and halo 3 has sold 16.5 million copies.

get ur facts striaght. vg doesnt use shipped numbers like blizzard, they use sold numbers. also they dont use digital copies and blizzard does.

we dont know vg is off 2 million for ps3 data. when sony anounced 38 million vg had it at 36 million. as vg doesnt use shipped numbers like sony they use sold to consumer. it would make sence that 1 million would be on the shelfs but 2 million ya they might be undertraking it by a million. as for 360, when they anonced 41 vg had it at 40 so its numbers seam spot on.
so vg has the gap at 5.4 million, it might be as low as 4 million but it is not 2 million. please get your facts stra...
mass effect 2 has sold more then 1 million in america on 360 acording to npd. its probably at 1.7 or so world wide.
sony tracks shipped numbers. vg uses estimates on consoles sold to consumer. it would make sense that sonys official numbers were 1 million ahead of sold to consumer, but at the time of that report vg had 36 million. that means they might be undertaking it by around 1 million(probably 800k-1.2 million)
why do u have reach so low. are u taking the average between Halo 3 and HALO 3 ODST.thats dumb. because odst is a full priced expansion. with every main halo game sells have increased(ms actually had halo 1 at 8m) and rech looks to sell 4-5 million first week so it should also outsell halo 3.
actually they are very close. when ms anounced 360 had shipped 41.7m vg had t360 at 40.8 which makes sense because they estimate sold to the people. 1 million on shelfs sounds aboutt right to me. but it seams they might be undertraking ps3 by a million. when 38.1 was anounced vg had them at 36.1. even then 1 million aint bad.
i do agree though that for software they are not as reliable.

in usa its actually like 9.5 million and worldwide like 5 million. they also have ps3 outselling 360 by .5 million this year to date.

i dont like vg for software but there pritty close for hardware. the reason theyre a million or 2 off from the offical ms and sony numbers is because vg chartz uses consoles sond to consumer while official ms and sony use shipped ...
360 was 5 million ahead when ps3 launched. by there data both sonys and MS's 360 is sill ahead by 3.5 million or so. and for this year ms is on pace to easly disminish the ground sonys made on them this year. by the end of the year they actually might outsell ps3 by a million for the year. hell go to vgchartz.com they arnt 100% acurate but theyre close especially for hardware.they have 360 out selling wii and ps3 for the last 10 weeks. and 360 aint slowing
ytd it was more 550k down to 360.to be catching up it would have to be gaining ground. i think what you ment was ps3 is falling back but less slowly then before. by year end it will be down 1.75 million to 360 in americas
no other single platform game has ever beat that. mw2 on 360 didnt beat it with 5 days or so more on the market
