people buying reach for muliplayer mainly. odst has sold almost 6 million copies and offers almost no new multiplayer
we know whats going to happen to the planet reach but nothing else. we dont know anything about whats going to happen to noble team
halo reach does look good ana there is no other game on console that can match it technology(40ai,with 20 vicheles, on 4 player splitscreen, on screen) yes killzone 3 does look better(i cant tell a differance in graphics between it and KZ2) but what it comes down to is gameplay. killzone may look better but its a averge shooter at best, while halo is king.
i agree but i still think it will do bettr then that 500k to 750k
mass effect 1 only did 2.2 million on 360 and EA has said the 360 version is on pase to outsell ME1. and acording to VGchartz its at like 1.9 so it will get there eventually. and yes 1.5 million on ps3 would be good but it wont do that, maybe 750k wich i still consider a success.
if it came out the same day as the other versions(360,pc) it would sell about 1.5 million copies tops. while 360 version will probably reach 2.5 million(wrpgs are most popular on 360 and it will obviously sell worse without ME1)
this wont reach 1 million units now.
* it came out a year ago on other platforms, other wrpg timed exclusives tell you(bioshock, oblivion) its going to sell worse on ps3.

reach is out pre-ordering MW2 on 360 wich did 1.85 million pre-orders in america. reach is on pace to hit 2 million in AMERICA
if they anounce a subscription plan a month after the game comes out i will be so pissed. they keep saying there wont be one and they better not be lieing.

bullshit. the orange box has sold about 1.15 million copies on console. im sure that after including pc sales it has up to 2.5 million copies. so your trying to tell me that one fith of everyone who has ever played it voted on your poll and said it was the fps king. dont make sh@t up please.
that halo 3 sucks. but the masses disagree. look at its 94 metacritic and look at how many people still play it.
i wasnt evn using my predictions that was from vgchartz. if it got 300k preorders theres a 90% chance it will sell more then 400k in NA. it got more then a 100k preorders in europe/others. so it will sell more then 125k units in europe/others. thats a bare mininum for of 525k units first week. thats better then the last 3 games on xbox.
its going to about 425k in america first week and around 650k worldwide first week. while looking at this awsome game i thought thats pritty low. but if you look at the sales of the last 3 games on xbox(the highest saling version) 1.45 million for PT and less then 1.15 for CT and DA then you will know its not a flop. it should sale about 1.75-2.5 million copies total on 360. that seams like a success to me.
they are loosing terribly. 5 billion in the hole, and still loosing a lot of money in there gaming division.they are loosing a ton off of psn and there consoles. ya i know its only 18 dollars for every ps3 shipped but that doesnt include the amount the retailer gets. which is about 30 bucks. there gaming division probably wont be profitable untill next year, which is to late. there going to lose at least 3 billion with the ps3. the 360 will make around 2-3 billion with the 360, and the wii. t...
so 1 million total sales should make a profit. and i think this game will have decent legs. its a non realilistic fps game. and that type is becoming increasingly rare so i think people will eat it up.i also think its being recieved well by fans. i expect a total of 3 million sales mininum.
i thought the final game was great. i give it a 8.5/10
that demo map was the worst map in the game. it was also the worst gametype. the demo was more clunky then the final product. and the matchmaking was much worse. on top of that the demo map is by far the worst looking map graphiclly. im just saying dont judge the game by a 1 1/2 year old demo. a lot of people i know thought the demo sucked but the final game is good.
the demo has 4 and 2/3 stars on live. which is the same as BF BC2. also the demo is almost a year old.
kinect adventures shows u what kinect will do. will probably have 500k pre-orders in america's. so does sports champions(since almost no one has eye toy probably 90% of buyers will also be getting move bundle) which doesnt look as good. maybe 50k-75k pre orders for move in americas.
