Yup and the multiplayer space in general. It might seem like they are getting nothing out of this deal but It’s a wealth of knowledge they haven’t pursued in a while. It’s a smart move, I wouldn’t be surprised if bungie came to Sony and said their terms to avoid a MS or Tencent acquisition.

I assume they want to use their expertise in the shooter genre since they gave that up a decade ago. Bungie in the PS family will have a huge impact even if destiny and such remains multiplat.

It needed to be done for the FPS. I don’t think they wanted to but they had to.

If she is the connection to the Egyptian culture then not only would I not have a problem with it, I would think it’s fantastic. Some Egyptian god followed the same path as Kratos at the same time and has a child with a giant. Like for instance this guy:

Onuris (Anhur) - He was a god of war and hunting. His name means "He Who Brings Back The Distant One" which is a reference to the story about his retrieval of the Eye of Ra from Nubia.

There is ...

If you are lonely then video games will not fill that void. No matter how good the game is or if you pursue aspects for that demographic. Loneliness probably killed more people than covid in 2020. It’s a real problem and VG are not the problem or cure.

Wow IGN finally broke the 8 button. In all seriousness the game has always looked great and the developer is one of my respected so congratulations. My copy will be here tomorrow.

That’s what an M rating stands for though. The original tweet isn’t in quotes but i often use “mature” in quotes because let’s be honest, there is nothing mature about hacking people into giblets haha.

👏👏👏 let’s go!

Pratt is the character to me. I’ve never heard of them before I saw the movies. Howard the duck is the only thing I knew about them and I didn’t even know Howard the duck was a marvel character.

But I can understand using the MCU version over a comic version for characters. I feel the same for characters I have followed. I want comic wolverine and Spider-Man. I want hulk fights and omega red. Deadpool haha

Are you disagreeing or making a joke haha

The part about tattoos and the meaning of Loki’s name were interesting to me.

Yeah it’s a good fit. What license would you guys want to see next? I would love to see a world breaker hulk game made by insomniac.

We at least know they nailed the look.

Awesome informative video. There were a couple things I’ve never heard.

I didn’t mind the dialogue but the mouth animations didn’t match up with the words and it was noticeable and off putting. Unless it was just my stream lagging.

Focusing on one character and their enemies is the way. Especially when it comes to the icons like wolverine and Spider-Man.

In the end I think a big factor is that insomniac is just better at what they do. If insomniac made an avengers game then it would probably be awesome.

1. Good point. But does that shatter the possibility of a shared universe? They can exist in the same comic book universe because comics are not regulated like games let alone licensed games.

2. I agree
3. I agree
4. I agree

I don’t mind arcade feel but I want the gore and grit themes. The only reason you would put them in the same universe is to eventually get them in the same game. So instead of starting with gore and grit and moving to a safer rating to combine them they just start with a safer rating and that sucks imo.

It’s open to interpretation I guess but I have read a dozen books on Norse mythology and I never got the impression that Thor was a lardo. It never explicitly said that.

1645d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I disagree. To get them in the same universe you would have to tone the savagery of Wolverine down. I don’t want robot enemies I want to see limbs flying. I love that insomniac has the license but I hope it has a more “mature” nature. I want berserker Wolverine not the cartoon show. I would buy either of them though.

There could be a reason though. There is potential. I think it’s too early to play it as a check mark. But at least I understand where you are coming from now. You have to remember this isn’t a strict telling of the myths. Loki isn’t who he is supposed to be either.
