I'm with you on that, loved part 2 but the third was a complete let down. From the first half hr I knew the game wouldnt be as good.
Lag is a bitch and so is the hit detection. I can't say how many times I got killed after I turned a corner trying to evade bullets. Then I watch the killcam and the person wasn't even accurate and shot behind me yet somehow as I turned the corner and died. I'm assuming its lag but it almost looks like a glitch.

I love it. Played it again just recently and yes it still holds up and is fun. It doesn't feel as epic as ocarina of time however, which is my favorite.
If its at least a little leap in graphics I'm ok with it. I mainly want better A.I., physics, textures, more detailed and believable worlds, and more content.
I really hope they don't cheap out on ram. Start next gen at around 400$ and squeeze as much as possible into that box. Systems are usually sold for a loss at the beginning anyways.

The maps in black ops were better and more balanced. No mw3 map beats firing range, radiation, havana, summit, villa, hell all the maps were good. Nuketown shits on Dome. The knife also didnt have as long a range as it does in mw3. There is also more lag and seems to me more auto aim. Include death streaks too and its way to noob friendly. What did people expect. I see the game as an expensive expansion that offers new maps, guns, perks, and slightly different gameplay. It's a fun game to play with your friends and to BS around. They really all are expansion why do you think none of the are titled call of duty 5. Paying 60 once a year is worth the fun I have, that's what it comes down to in the end for me.
Actually the gameplay varies slightly from different call of duty's.
Why do you think that most players can't agree on which one is their favorite. Besides of course part 4 which introduced it all, if you go back to it now it feels more barebones compared to the others. I loved 4, thought waw was ok, hated mw2, loved black ops, and currently enjoy Mw3 and I would put it in 3rd place.
Each game plays slightly different but enough for me to notice a difference.
Zelda is my favorite Nintendo franchise followed by mario.
I'm enjoying mw3 maybe because I'm not a graphics whore. I still think black ops was better, I liked the maps better in BO plus it was a lot more balanced, Mw3 seems twitchier (I know its not a word).
The thing I hate about Mw3 is lag and the knife range which seems to be more assisted and have longer range than BO.
I like the new stuff they introduced but it feels like a step back from all the stuff black ops offered. Although, kill confirmed is awesome.
this is a step back from black ops. Also feels like there is more aim assist. The knife got its ridiculous range back and at the press of a button you have a kill without even looking into the direction of the opponent.
I enjoyed Black Ops on the wii. I bought it because my girl has a wii. Its a lot easier because most players are simply not as skilled. I was averaging 30 something kills per game. I believe my K/d was somewhere around 5.0+
Most people who do good on the 360 or ps3 will rape the wii players.
80 levels is too much for me but I'm sure some people love that. I just won't be prestiging as much if I do end up getting this. Honestly I don't like the setup of this. I thought black ops was perfect the way they had the perks Layed out. It also sucks that I have to sacrifice grenades for a claymore.
I haven't had Romero play too much yet, I just now got to the woods so I'm still in the beginning. I do hope it starts to pick up a bit more soon.
